I'm guessing this guy isn't psychic because he's got such a small head.

Maybe he's a musclepath.

late night post ? say what ? AWESOME !

Posted by andrew2696

Heh Marc Webb directed that music video. From that to (500) Days of Summer to Spider-Man. Also I'm talking about the video because I've only heard of this game from the ending.

I feel like I need to say that this is the greatest game ever made and it has the most wonderful co-op multiplayer mode I have ever seen.

Anyone know why Vinny died the first time?

I wonder if Vinny just can't find his memory cards for any other systems. Still, I'm enjoying this XBox retrospective series, since I never owned one.

Cold is a great band.

Edited by LiquidSwords

That horrible Nu Metal in the intro! YEESH!

Also: walk, walk, ZAAAAAAAP!

"What happened?- Vinny

YES

I friggin' loved this game and will always wish for a sequel. Considering I was into Cold at the time, double bonus!

Although I just realized most of this is gonna be a boss battle, which isn't the reason why this game ruled.

Posted by HydraHam

5 minutes in and already a Cold music video and 2 exploding bodies.

best LOLS ever.. LOLS.. i get it now

Posted by shway

I love how they die almost instantly

PSYCHIC MINES

man i loved this game on the ps2 it was awesome. it makes me sad that most likely there won't be a sequel.

@HatKing

I preferred Second Sight, personally.

I did as well - the story and characters seemed more interesting to me. I owned Psi Ops for pc and remember never installing it which is weird.

Not the best L.O.L.S.

Cold is the worst name for a band.

I remember this! this game was great. I played it on my roommate's playstation (I was an original xbox guy) at my first-ever living-out-on-my-own apartment.

Man, what a disaster that was! But the game was a good time.

Posted by Eaxis

TO BE CONTINUED. WHAT?. Seems like a worse cliffhanger than Halo 2, just putting it out there.

Posted by JackSukeru

Oh, I must've missed this when they did it, but hell yeah I'll watch them play some Psi-Ops! It's a decent game.

Posted by PolygonSlayer

Super bummed I missed this live! Psi-Ops is a freaking great game!! I remember trying to convince people back in the day to get it instead of the inferior Second Sight game... but not it seems we won't get a sequel to either of them lol. Also this was for me the first game where I felt that real-time physics in a game actually did something for the gameplay.

Posted by Dezztroy

Load Our Last Save could use some The Thing love. All that talk on the bombcast got me thinking about it.

Posted by Osaladin

Fuck yeah Psi-ops!

If I recall correctly there was a cutscene with the big TK guy right before the save, so I guess the game loads up an area after that which won't let you backtrack anymore. Instead of putting up an invisible wall they just zap you cause...alien technology.

A personal nemesis, that game destroyed the far superior Second Sight. Sadness. :(

That is a fucking great idea, hope they have some sort of save on it, or just throw the rule book out the window on that one

oh i remember playing this on the PS2, shit was super cash AND I DONT CARE WHAT ANYONE ELSE SAYS *hides in corner*

Posted by DjDonFrancisco

I totally had a copy of Cold's 13 Ways to Bleed On Stage. And I'm not ashamed of that fact.

Posted by Kaowas

NO. NO. Screw you Psi-Ops. I was super excited to FINALLY see the ending of this game. I've been waiting about 5 years to see the how this ends, but I've since moved onto other games. So when I saw this I was excited to see how it ends but it gives you a "To Be Continued" screen? Gaaaaaahhhhhhh! I've learned my lesson.

Posted by Mordi

I only had the demo of this game (it came with the Official UK Xbox Mag) but I still had many hours of fun in the little test-chamber when I was about 13 years old. Physics-based gameplay ftw. \o/

Posted by Paindamnation

I remember beating this when I was 17, crazy fun game though. But that death music, you'll never get that out of your head.

Edited by bybeach

" The guy's(singer of Cold)  in a baad place, got lost in a basement."

Right away a Vinny production.

Posted by skrutop

This game is slow to get started, but ultimately became one of my favorite Xbox games. The TK power is just too fun.

Posted by dvdwalker8

Vinny's singing was great. Agree with Drew though, needed Jeff's guitar shredding.

Posted by Undeadpool

Oh MAN! I remember this game! This was the game that defined variety as "Do you want to throw that barrel at that guy...OR THROW THAT GUY AT THAT BARREL?!?!?!"

Never did beat it though...and now I see that perhaps I made the right decision.

Posted by Neezie

I really hope Marc Webb takes some of the lessons he learned from directing Cold's Psi-Ops music video and uses them in The Amazing Spider-Man.

Posted by OneKillWonder_

I remember renting this game back when it came out and loving it. Throwing dudes into fans and having them gib all over the place was pretty satisfying and hilarious. I also remember it having maybe the worst idea for co-op I've ever seen. Did anyone ever actually play that?

Nor should you be. 13 Ways is a fantastic album, as is Year of the Spider. Their new stuff is alright, but Cold is still a legitimately good band. People love to throw around "nu-metal" so loosely, whether it actually applies to the music or not.

Posted by sawtooth

Never played this one, I stand by that decision.

Posted by WickedCobra03

Downloading now to watching on my Playstation 3 while doing HW this afternoon. This, as well as Random-Ass PC game are two of the best things to come to giantbomb in the last year ... oh yeah, and Breaking Brad.

Posted by MustardDragon

'Cold' music video directed by Marc Webb (The Amazing Spiderman)

Posted by HeliumSpoon

IN MY MIND!

Posted by hurtfulmadmax

As a kid, I LOVED that cheesy Cold video.
