Vinny's mad with power!!

Posted by Mercury45

What a golden moment to see that final fight. Whenever Vinny gets serious and finally does it, he puts on a great show.

Plus he showed us some of that classic Game-Playing Sociopath Vinny today, and that's always good.

VINNY IS NOT HAPPY

I hope he takes on the Painted World next week.

Posted by MormonWarrior

I was going to play some Dark Souls before Thanksgiving because I wanted to accomplish something...and now I can't remember what that was. Now it's really bugging me.

He already has her soul.

Posted by Nurve

Vinny so cold.

Posted by weegieanawrench

@antihippy: Oh he does? Good catch. Ah well, looks like we're gonna end on a round 10 episodes.

Behold, VBOMB of the Abyss.

I'm not sure if he's fought Gwyndolin yet, but that might be the last boss fight he has left available before Gwyn. I really hope he goes on a murderous rampage of all the NPC's before finishing.

Posted by mlarrabee

I didn't expect I could watch the beginning so soon.

Posted by UberExplodey

She was indoctrinated.

Posted by TruthTellah

Vinny of the Abyss shows his true colors this episode, revealing that maybe his time in Dark Souls must end soon if there will be any hope for his everlasting soul.

Posted by GasparNolasco

Gods, tell me Vinny is going into a murderous rampage before killing Gwyn!

Posted by Corwag

I pray for a Vinnie feat. Jeff Green Dark Souls 2 marathon (24 hours perhaps?)

Posted by chilibean_3

Sometimes I think Vinny is the true Dark Soul.

Posted by Jeem

welp vinny hollowed pack it up

Vinny, stop hurting everyone!

Posted by ZagZagovich

Damn you, Vinny!!!

She was Manus! He had no choice!

A shame he didn't push through to the end; there's really not much left, and he's going to steamroll the last boss like nothing.

They should pop in Demon's Souls for fun after they finish, but that might be asking for too much. I still feel like that game stands up to Dark Souls in a lot of ways though.

Posted by development

Hah! Never knew Iron Flesh was so damn powerful. I tried a few times to kill those double Chimeras and got completely destroyed every time. Pretty ridiculous. Vinny the steamroller.

Edited by TurboMan

rewatching it again, @vinny was about to leave the area but @rorie convinced him to stick around!

Vinny might have pulled the trigger, but Matt loaded the bullet into the gun.

That lady's death is on both parties hands!

Posted by ludorverr

Fight Dark Sun Gwyndolin!

It's a cool boss. Don't leave the game without seeing everything!

"bad consequences" please ian, you're scaring vinny. It's not a consequence when you're about to complete the game.

Edited by bybeach

I missed this today!

Damn

Oh,... changes. I hope things work out. I gots sick also.

Vinny- 'I'm sorrrry' Well fought though.

Jesus, Vinny. What are we gonna do with you

Posted by Vic_Eddie

Thanks guys!

Posted by Redhotchilimist

Thanks for archiving this so fast!

Christ, Vinny. Of all the people to kill. I blame Patrick for the girl in the last episode, but not this one.

Posted by Bats

Vinny has truly become the monster he was destined to become the moment he picked up a Souls game. Great vid, amazed at the Manus fight, surprised by the Dusk bit. Hilarious all around.

Posted by Turambar

Ian saying there is no big pay off to the dlc other than Elizabeth giving you somethings is aggravating.

Posted by kkotd

Love this everytime, shame Twitch is continuing it's roll of pissing people off with their bad decisions.

Posted by probablytuna

Ohhhhhhhhhh shit! Manus is easy, if Vinny can beat Artorias, he can beat the Father of the Abyss!

Posted by MeatSim

Manus must have been a real disappointment to his grandfather of the abyss.

Posted by teenmother

The ending was so much better with Vinny trying to defend himself.

Posted by CornBREDX

Dat twist ending.

OMG! hahaha

Edited by JamesJeux007

Oh no ! Turns out the name of the game is actually describing what happens to you if you play for too long !

Vinny... You really have a thing for killing defenseless dying ladies in cold blood, haven't you ? First the Daughter of Chaos and now this...

Posted by ArbitraryWater

Vinny should fight Gwyndolin, the consequences really don't matter if you're about to beat the game anyways. Also, he's absurdly overleveled and it will be a pretty short episode if he's just going to fight Gwyn and beat the game.

Great stuff as always guys.

All these videos finally convinced me to give Dark Souls another chance.

I bought the game on Monday for $5.

Wish me luck strange internet people.

Edited by dudeglove

Damn Vinny, you roll dark.

Posted by TournamentOfHate

Seeing puppy Sif might have been my favourite part of the DLC. So I got this DLC while I was on my 3rd playthrough, and I've beaten everything but I think Kalameet is going to be the one boss I won't be able to beat. Finding a Dragon should be hard though, so I'm not really disappointed.

Edited by dr_mantas

Yeah! I was just about ready for this.

Edit: lol at Matt just mentioning myfreecams :D

Does anybody have a link to that best of Dark Souls video they talk about ten minutes in?

They have skipped most of the lore already so there's no reason to start getting into it now. I just hope that people who've watched don't come away thinking that there's nothing in Dark Souls to discuss. The story and lore is there for people who care.

Ironically enough I learned something at the end of the Manus fight that I NEVER noticed. The dug up grave is right there next to Dusk.

Another little note for people watching the stream. Manus is the hardest boss in the game. He can easily one shot most builds with several of his attacks. Vinny just deals so much damage that it looks looks like it takes a few minutes to take him out. In reality Manus has 6,666 HP. I've been trying to kill him with a low level and weak equipment build for the past several days. At 60 dmg a pop from my Uchigatana it would take me 111 hits to kill him. Using my maxed out pyromancy I can reduce his health by half, and then it would only take around 50 Uchigatana strikes it take him out.

I was secretly hoping that the final fight would be Vinny, Sif, and a phantom buddy.

Manus isn't too difficult on normal, I think. Just because you can kind of cheese him like Vinny did.

On NG+ though -- guy can be a real bastard.

I finally beat this game last night. I've been stuck on Gwyn for about a month, and I had given up for a while. I boot it up last night, beat him first try. I'm so happy. Everything considered (I started on Xbox for 10-15 hours, started over twice, and switched to PC), this game took me roughly 70 hours total to beat, DLC included. I first booted this game up almost exactly 2 years ago lol. Not exactly record time, but I think I did pretty much everything you possibly could on a first run through. I'm totally back in for NG+ though.

This game is very good.

Thanks for getting this up so quickly guys. I was watching live from the UK, and while I wasn't having as bad a problem as some watching, every few minutes the video would freeze for 30 seconds or so, even though the audio was fine, so I was more listening along than watching.
