it makes no sense to me, I mean it kinda defeats the story in both universes, isnt the reason Marcus and Dom fighting the Locusts, and the squad from LP fighting the Achrids because they are kind astranded on there planets. I mean if Marcus and Dom have the technology to leave there home why didnt they leave it in the first place and get rescue for the other survivors elsewhere...

well that bandwagon of hate got full quite quickly. I don't see the problem, the trailer was a bit crappy but having the gears people in it shouldn't have caused such an outrage.

While this makes about as much sense as a Tuna and shoe sandwich... sounds like more fun than the Vader/Yoda Soul Cal mashup!

I really liked the first one so I'm in... if the mash doesn't work, you don't have the Gears peeps. And on the PS3 they could go even crazier and put friggin Rachet and Clank in the mo... who's with me!?!?!?

It's not hard to figure out the why, seeing as how Capcom is trying to make sure this game sells better, and if you can trick people into thinking it's Gears of War, why the hell not.

And I even have a great cannon reason for it. "A giant gleaming shoehorn fell from the deepest reaches of outer space, lodging itself deep within the world of Lost Planet" I've been using the same thing to explain Mass Effect suddenly having ammo.

um..... this doesn't make me want to play Lost Planet 2 anymore than before. I remember the original being pretty good... just too many other good games coming out.
