 EA can pull their funding but since it is a EA Partners deal they cant tell Respawn what games they have to work on, just like they cant tell Valve or Harmonix what to do. An EA Partners deal is just a publishing and distribution deal made for one or more games that the developer are working on. Meaning it is the developers IP and EA is only marketing and putting the game on shelves. They don't own Respawn Entertainment.
Its almost exactly the deal Bungie has whit Activition except that EA gave them money to start the company.

I think this game is aimed to give a more authentic look on war seems kinda more serious than mw2

A few. In Operation Anaconda the Americans lost 2 Chinooks in that operation alone; so I'm willing to bet there's a few more shot down here and there. Same deal with UH-60 Black Hawks in Somalia, helicopters aren't invulnerable to RPG fire. =P 
 
I am interested in this trailer. Hopefully it gives me a game with a emotional punch behind it, we definitely need more of that in a lot of shooters.

EA you better deliver, so far this game looks amazing. Also don't turn Medal of Honor into a yearly or biyearly game either, put this one out, then wait a few years to make another one.

I'm hoping this game will have more emotion to it. Too few war games have anything other than badass soldiers and cardboard cutout people. I really liked World in Conflict's story, and this one looks to be going in a similar direction/

i was readin' some thing about the making of this trailer. apparently jim patterson was telling his wife the truth, but some military liaison told them most soldiers lie to their family to make them feel better. 
also of interest, this trailer may not have shown gameplay, but that IS the in-game engine at work.

That american soldier calling home couldn´t sound more fake. You can almost see the guy in the soundbooth reading the script with little to no enthusiasm. I bet that guy usually does homeshopping or some shit like that.
