Can you drive tanks? or pilot attack choppers? or jets? or blow up buildings? or snipe someone from a mile away?

if yes, I will totally buy this game.

@katsu044: I think your missing something the guy using specialist is probably the guy with the lowest kill count. Using your own gun to kill people is way harder to do even with the perks then it is to kill a shit load of guys with a chopper. There is a reason the only people with 50 kills in one game got over half of them with a chopper gunner.

@koolaid39: That's easy the guy who never gets a chopper out always has the lowest kill count. Watch some youtube videos of the top black ops play you'll notice they all have something in common. black hawk chopper gunner and dogs over half of their kills comes from the chopper gunner and the dogs.

@Krummey: Hardline is basically worthless to the specialist sure it makes it easier to get all the perks up but once you do there is no point to it . Not sure how you can get overkill in the middle of the game it just lets you use a second primary. Not all of the perks are gonna be helpful unless you have them on your baseline loadout because once you have your 7 taking hardline into account hardline is worthless I doubt they will let you change your weapon load out mid fight so overkill is worthless and marksmen seems worthless for a non sniper all together.

How is having every perk and basically being a super-soldier balanced?

and all that for 8 kills? 8 kills is fucking easy.

Yea, i don't get it...

Yep, other than that I actually think this game sounds pretty good, then again I'm a sucker for Call of Duty, but still, I'm probably going to hate the specialist package within the first week, already sounds really overpowered.

Youd be suprised how many people cant pull of an 8 kill streak. If you play on consoles you know that most people in LagOps cant get a black bird. Besides you give up killstreaks and you loose them if you die.

I dont think its going to be that much of a problem

I think it's good that IW is taking a look at other playstyles and making them work within the arcade-style gameplay, even though they can't completely do it in the way that the Battlefield series rewards team-based play.

But that 7-perk thing being the "most balanced ever"... I dunno.

Judging from past MW games, I'd say these intriguing ideas will be about as unbalanced as humanly possible.

16 but still, not that ridiculous.

This all seems cool until you realize all the 14 year olds who have time to play this game every waking moment they're not in school are going to rape you harder than ever before. It does nothing to fix the problems with the game since MW2, that is to say it just becomes a giant kill-streak massacre. It seems they're trying to make this game easier and easier to people, which in the end will make it really cheap and unbalanced.

The specialist pack looks interesting, although I'm not entirely sure if having all the perks in the game would make you that powerful. I guess you would be silent, incredibly fast, deal extra damage, and have unlimited ammo, but a predator missile can still kill you if you're out in the open.

I'll probably roll with support, as I'm terrible at call of duty.

I wouldn't say I'm terrible, but yes, I can get a UAV easily, but I usually die soon afterwards (I can almost keep a UAV up constantly thought haha) so the fact that I get to keep all my points for "points-streaks" even after death sounds awesome to a player like me. Support class it is :)

I don't know what anyone else thinks but that ground drone with the LMG on it looks like it will be ridiculously annoying to deal with.

If its anything like sentry turrets from previous games, 1 stun grenade will disable it, and a few bullets (maybe 1/2 a clip) will down it :)

Hey guys, Battlefield 3.

Also, apparently having 7 perks at once, keeping killstreaks through deaths, and having access to killstreaks more powerful than those in MW2 is balanced. With that mentality, they might as well have given everyone handguns that fire nuclear bombs.

This looks like the complete opposite of balanced and even though they're making it easier to get killstreaks for casual players - this is only making the problem worse because now the hardcore players i.e. the teens that play this game every waking moment and are hopped up on RC Cola are going to be snoozing through streaks.

I'm getting it regardless though because I like variety and I'll get bored of Battlefields pace and will be able to just turn on RC COLA mode and play some crazy ass Call of Duty so it's all good.

Clearly these guys have no idea what "balanced" actually means.

I definitely think it is a step in the right direction. I had given up on the last couple of games because of how they rewarded players. i don't play death matches, and the problem with playing objective modes, was that it was full of death match players only looking for kill streaks. Meaning I was just fodder for campers not even trying for the objectives. Still probably not going to buy this game though, just rent a single player run through, unless Spec Ops is nasty.
