My favorite video game manual by far was the Super Mario 64 manual, because they showed you all the different moves you could do in the game plus a visualization of all the button combinations you'd have to push. That was the pre-tutorial era, good times.

Because being a pathetic try-hard wigger is apparently more important than not embarrassing yourself in an online video game.

The Left 4 Dead 2 community is full of a combination of decent people, assholes, and noobs. Although its weighted predominately towards the asshole and noob spectrums, from my experience.

Well, more accurately, the jockey in Left 4 Dead 2 versus mode pounced onto my fist and caused it to fall off my keyboard into my dresser, causing it to collide with and break my lightswitch and causing me $100 worth of residential damage. I just hate the jockey class in general. It would be better if the jockey just tipped over the player and then started munching on their brains.

They operate entirely on user-defined priority lists and their pathfinding is as good as the enemy's pathfinding, so what seems to be "bad AI" on the part of your party members may actually just be the player's fault. Just saying.

@Khann: I actually went into that fight with mostly melee dmg and only one mana potion, so it was actually prohibitively hard for me. I managed to beat the fight on my third try with only one character left standing, and then I had to burn all my injury kits so he didn't die on the two remaining adds.

It's so sad that MW2 had to come to this. IW should have just rode on the CoD4 formula for the PC version of MW2, and none of this discontent would have happened.

BC2 is going to rock socks. And I've heard too many bad things about MW2 multiplayer on PC to give it a go. I'd say that I'll wait until the price on MW2 goes down before buying it, but it took CoD4 like 2 years to hit the bargain bin, so I doubt I'll find MW2 for a budget price anytime soon. Oh well, I always have Team Fortress 2.

The red toolbar on the top is sort of a weird contrast with the grayish-black background. It almost screams "notice!" or "warning!" to me, so I don't know.

It definitely makes the game feel more arcade-y, but I feel like experience points and damage counts in FPS's can go too far sometimes, like in Borderlands with ticking damage from incendiary weapons almost blocking your screen.
