Monsters Can't Wait To Kill You In Dark Souls

I did not expect this from a Derksouls tailer. But I like it.  
 
Demon's Souls was not that hard, unforgiving sure, but thats what made it exciting. 

@Marokai: i think as long as they make the u.i. more approachable and you dont have to go online to understand the systems of leveling up or what specific terms mean then people will stop complaining and just see it as a hard game. that said, i cannot fucking wait for this game!

I am scared of these games, but I think it is this fear that keeps me sane. Still... it does look pretty cool.....

What the hell? Don't Americanize my Demon's Souls. I'll forgive you this once. Never do it again. I swear, if I see a "Dark Souls: Fuck Yeah!" sticker on the box it will give me an aneurysm.

They need to task an intern to endurance run this game until they complete it, no matter how long that takes.

Also the games difficulty is so exaggerated that it's becoming an urban legend of difficulties. It's challenging but it's not as hard as people make it to be.

I don't want an endurance run, I just want this game. I want to play it. I will play it so much.

Game looks amazing. I had to mute the trailer halfway through and start over. Power would have been a much better choice.

I imported the first Demon's Souls I liked the concept so god damn much. Can't wait for this one.

This video/add was... very american marketing team made. Still want the hell out of it though.

 As far a Dark Souls, I hope they make heavy armor useful. It was better to run around in cloth or leather than plate as a fast dodge was essential.

This is one of the most anticipated games of this year for me. But I don't know how I feel about that song with the trailers it makes the game feel more real I guess. It's funny how music can change some things.

And yeah, I think Demon's Soul's difficulty is kind of overblown. Once you know really what the game expects from you, e.g. not to just run in blindly swinging and rolling all over the place, and instead tackle every enemy and unexplored room with extreme caution, you realize it's not really a hard game, just an unforgiving one.

Fucking loved it and this seems even sweeter.

It's not that heavy armour was bad, exactly.  It's just that the drawback of losing your movement speed in a game where most things can kill you in one or two hits, regardless of armour, was not worth it.  Only way to fix that is to increase the defense bonus granted by heavy armours or have a few more items/upgrades available that increase your encumbrance limit (like the Ring of Great Strength etc).

This game looks cool enough, but strangely enough I don't view trying to overcome gameplay that hates me as entertainment.

Watching this trailer makes me want to play a mash-up  of  Dark Souls and Brutal Legend.

This is one of the best trailers ever. Short and powerful. The lyrics of the track really amp it up as well.

I love music video-style videogame trailers. This one's the best yet. Insanely awesome track. Great game.
 
Let's have then! My body is ready.

The music fits the trailer fine, it's not like the song will be playing in-game while your creeping around a castle.   It's meant to pump you up and maybe get the attention of someone who doesn't know much about the game.  I think it works well.

I completely disagree. The lyrics fit, and it sets a super dark, yet strangely celebratory mood for the game.

Don't know why people are hating on this song, I love it. I have watched this trailer more than most just to hear this song. I would say that makes it a pretty damn effective trailer. Of course I always planned to buy this game anyways.

Besides, there is a wolf/dog with a sword in it's mouth, all complaints are invalid.
