This does look a lot like the 360 version... but having grown up on the PC versions of worms I have to say the thought of playing it with a keyboard and mouse, with online play, and all these new features kind of makes me want to buy it anyway...

Is everyone blind? ALL of this was in Worms 2: Armageddon which was released on XBLA LAST YEAR. Resurrection worms is not new.

Worms 2: Armageddon is a lot older than you think it is. The XBLA release was a rip-off. This actually brings some new stuff. Resurrecting dead worms was -not- in Armageddon, neither was the sentry, nor the missile deflection. All of these really change things up in the strategy part of worms.

I lost whole weekends playing Worms 2 with my friends back in the old days... but no Worms game ever since had that same feel to it. But this one looks like it might just bring my "addiction" alive! XD

Its pretty crazy that these guys are still around making Worms games... But seriously, they sure don't add or change much when they release a game.

This is such a badly made trailer. The description of what's happening at the bottom of the screen appears as the action happens, so you can't see both.

Everything you just named is in the latest XBLA version, and most of those are in the last DS iteration as well. Maybe there are going to be some new weapons and gimmicks and these "14 new weapons" are just not named yet, but so far all of the fan fare seems to be in relating this new worms games with the last version that came out on the PC, not the last version period. 
 
And for the record, the magnets and sentry guns did not change the game all that much if you were wondering.
