I cleared Herodotus on my second try. Vampirism is the way to go for that boss. Ponce de Leon might be the hardest boss in the game.

Holy shit it's Patrick!

Patrick's genuine excitement at winning was lovely. Congrats Lady Sonia IV.

By the time I got to the last boss my stats were so high that I had absolutely no problems just tanking damage with a barbarian, hitting him over and over. I've never even almost died to this boss. Felt like a bit of an anticlimax, actually, so it's interesting to see the way the fight was supposed to go. I think I had nearly three times that amount of health.

I love how Patrick looks around after he says I did it haha. Good job man.

@patrickklepek: I also think your webcam video is slightly behind your mic audio, only by about a quarter of a second or so, have a look at the OBS audio settings where you can add a delay to your mic audio. Although, if it's just me, well, then...ignore me.

How does one slay spike traps?

That's a weird issue with OBS that I think (?) I've worked out.

The streaming quality was good; dare I say 'very good'. Microphone audio was a non-issue for me (maybe because I wasn't paying any attention to it). Please do a Spookin' episode soon! Lastly, you deserve all of the love that we're throwing at you. Thanks for helping us all through this tough time.

The spikey balls in particular seem to only have like 1HP or something, so the first time they damage you they are immediately killed. The other 2 things generally have to hit you 2 or 3 times before enough damage is returned to deplete their life bar.

In the video, Patrick calls them "knockback" runes, probably because he equipped them so long ago that he forgot what the symbol means. There is no knockback rune; he's using 2 "return damage to enemy" runes, which are actually pretty good when you're just doing boss runs, as they're really the only runes that up your damage output in any way.

That fight where you're the Barbarian King was hard to watch. Shout gets rid of projectiles which makes a lot of moves from the second form a walk in the park since you don't have to deal with them at all.

Okay, turns out I'm not garbage after all. Took me 114 generations and about 12 hours to finish the game once I put my mind to it. Also, Spellsword's powered up Fireball makes short work of the slime boss. Got him on my first try.

This kinda looks like a side scrolling Dark Souls to me for some reason.

Stream looks really good to me. Clear and quick from what I could tell.

It also destroys the flames that the third? boss, Ponce de Leon, leaves. Making the whole boss fight a cakewalk.
Too bad i only found out about that after trying to kill him a whole night long with barbarian's :/

I'd be careful with those.
Personally i only had bad experiences with those, bad and unreliable performance, tend to get really really hot (i'm talking fire hazard hot) and in the worst case you open up your network to your neighbor next door.

In Patrick's case it should be okay, after all this place looks like some single house without any direct neighbors. But in buildings, where several parties share the same electrical wiring, it's possible that somebody else in the building, using a powerline adapater, could get access to your powerline network.

It's a little known fact that people should be aware of. So in the end i'd still rather use those 50' cables, after all nothing beats those in terms of performance, reliability and security :)

Good job duder. I really like the game but there is something about it that... I dunno, it just doesnt go all the way so I "just" really like it instead of loving it. Well worth your money tho if youre thinking of getting it.
