Erik turning a Portal 2 interview into "yo Jeff, play Demon's Souls" is the best thing.

Erik seems like a pretty cool guy, taking the time to talk so much about a completly different game that has nothing to do with valve in any way shape or form. It seems like he genuinely enjoys gaming as a hobby and not just his source of money.

Demon's Souls ain't that rough.  The lack of tutorials sucks, but what can you do.

So Awesome that you turned a Valve interview into talking about Demon's Souls. 
That was a really fun interview. I like when developers talk about other games they love and not just try to sell their own.

Don't know what this Poortill Tu game is, but I'm psyched for Demon Souls with Steam support.

I feel like Giant Bomb has the most genuine interviews of all the gaming sites I frequent.

Right on Wolpaw, spreading the Demon's Souls love. Considering how old it is, Valve sure knows how to keep the Source engine looking brilliant without redesigning the whole thing.

This is why I come to giantbomb. Right there.  Key industry figures talking with Jeff of Ryan or Brad and saying stuff that's not even related to their game. I love it!!!

I think Jeff has talked himself out of playing Demon's Souls enough to not be tempted back in.

That's awesome that 2 games I really want to play are coming out on my birthday Portal 2 and Mortal Kombat I can't wait for both.

I think Jeff sees Mortal Kombat with rose tinted glasses. If it's coming out the same day as portal 2, how many people are going to care about Mortal Kombat? I haven't played a Mortal Kombat game in a long time, but it seems like they are just about the SICK FATALITIES and not so much about great fighting systems. But like I said it's been a long time. 
 
Demon Souls can be cool, it does interesting things with online interactivity. I need to play that sometime. The difficulty adds challenge right? Some times challenge can be great if you learn to eventually get around it. Halo Reach was a bitch on legendary, but I had a great time, didn't get frustsated. Bayonetta was a trial at first on normal, but I learned how to properly dodge, bought some helpful items, and found the right weapon set up, now it's one of my favorite games ever. 
Oh and I'm so glad my birthday is the day after portal 2 comes out. This game look awesome.

Demon's Souls sure is getting spread out more if a valve member is talking about it.

Source Engine ages well.

I also consider Demon's Souls to be far easier than most people who haven't played it consider it to be. If you play cautiously and take your time, you'll be fine. If you rush the dragon with your puny sword, you'll be screwed.
