If this panel is any indication, to be a video producer you also have to be just super gorgeous.

Saw this earlier today on GameSpot, and I have to say--the questions in this panel are fantastic! Loved every minute of this.

I know. Back in my day*, the people behind the camera were supposed to be uglier than the people in front.

*I'm 25. There was no "my day".

Warning - I have barely any idea what I'm talking about - Warning- but I still think they're over complicating their studio setup and you can get 1080p 60 fps recording and streaming including all the additional features Vinny mentioned with consumer grade equipment.

It's one of those things that on paper I think totally sounds doable and not all that complicated but I will always trust people with years and years of experience when they tell me that no it's actually a total pain in the ass on every front.

I said it before on Gamespot but I'll say it again on here, thank you for recording and uploading this. A really great panel with interesting people to listen to. They could make a podcast talking about anything and I would listen to it.

And Mary Kish is awesome, I can't stress that enough.

Great panel, a ton of really interesting stuff. Jason and Mary continue to be great every time they get to show up on camera.

And somehow it still manages to surprise me what a fantastic speaker Vinny is. Miss having him on the podcast so much. Dude effortlessly elevates any piece of content that he's in without needing to be the center of attention.

I really like this panel. I always had a fascination with Vinny, Drew, and Jason's side of the site as my job has a similar live aspect where I work with similar gear. Perhaps what I found most interesting about this panel is the differences between GB and GS in terms of content production. GB production seems to fall along what they want to make the most and what they think we like the most where as at GS they are focused on how many hits they can get for a particular feature.

So good. Also, that may have been the single best Q&A segment I've seen from a PAX panel in 5 years of watching them. Why can't these well-adjusted question askers show up to the GB panels?

This was great. I wish it wasn't so short though. I would love it if the next time Vinny is in town, they would all get together and do some kind of live stream where they talk about this more and take some questions from the chat or whatever. I just want more of this behind-the-scenes production talk.

This is an amazing and brilliant panel. Thank you! As someone that does a light amount of video production for the company I work at, I can really appreciate this panel.

Also? Fantastic Q&A group.

OMG DOPPELGANGER DREW AND KISH!

Also talking while you're hearing your voice on the speaker inside an auditorium can be jarring especially if you can't be sure that you're enunciating certain words correctly at times.

So good. Also, that may have been the single best Q&A segment I've seen from a PAX panel in 5 years of watching them. Why can't these well-adjusted question askers show up to the GB panels?

I was at Rich and Vinny's PRODUCED panel from last year and the questions were of a similar quality. It seems like when you have such a niche, focused panel on a specific topic like video production, you get people who really care and are really interested in picking the brains of the panelists. People aren't trying to do comedy, or ask about dead people we all miss dearly, or insult the panelists or friends of the panelists. Nobody seems to be trying to impress anyone here.

Hell, even the people I was shooting the shit with on the panel line, we chatted more about our interest in video production than like, video games or whatever else people talk about in the Giant Bomb panel line or PAXAMANIA line.

There's a certain level of understood respect for the work when it's a panel full of video producers. When it's Jeff or Brad or Dan or whoever, I bet the audience feels a bit more like....waaaaahh we're all having fun. Vinny, Drew, Jason, Rob, Mary all have fun, but we know them primarily as the workhorses behind the camera.

I can't speak for Jeff's "Reviewing How We Review Video Games" panel that he did, but I'm sure he got more serious and thought out questions there as well. Or maybe not, because a majority of the audience isn't reviewing games, but I bet a majority of the Video Sausage audience owns cameras and watches Youtube and dabbles in it.

I'll add to the support and say that this was a fantastic panel. Listening to this group talk about what it really takes to put things together behind the scenes is intensely fascinating. Thanks guys!

Also, very professional and useful Q&A, unlike this year's PAX panel that I had to turn off immediately.

The audience for this must have been significantly smaller in comparison to something like the GB panel and I find that in other panels or in stream chat, the quality of the comments/questions is more often than not is inversely proportional to the number of people.

I would reckon that the subject matter for the panel doesn't necessarily appeal to a large number of PAX attendees so the people who were interested would most likely have more refined questions in mind already. Lastly, the people asking the questions would most likely not be as intimidated or nervous since there is a lot less people in the audience.

Man, this went on for too long so I apologize. I really dug this panel...obviously. :D
