I don't think you know how good the battle.net 2.0 matchmaking is. My win/loss ratio is 51.6% in SC2.

some amazing matchmaking, no one can perfect matchmaking, it will never be done and will put you against people either really shitty or really amazing not to mention dummy accounts, people in diamond who have multiple accounts and play in bronze/silver and completely floor people.

every matchmaking system is broke, just because YOUR w/l is 51% doesn't mean it isn't broke.

StarCraft 2's matchmaking isn't broken, you just don't understand how it works. Your league and your opponent's league have nothing to do with your chance of getting matched together -- it's all based on performance metrics you can't see. My w/l has consistently been around 50% since the game came out.

Though he did say it would be downloadable, he did not say it would be free.  Counter-Strike has never been free, and frankly I don't see the point in developing this game just to make it free.  It isn't the Counter-Strike way.  No killstreaks, no unlockables, none of that bullshit.  Like he said, if you get killed it's because you've messed up or the other player is better than you.   Also the game doesn't look bad at all. In fact it looks quite nice.  Some people are impossible to satisfy though, so it's a whatever issue.
