As long as you unplug it, and there is not battery in it you should be fine touching whatever you want inside it.

Naked CRT parts look scary as hell. Like part of some crazy sci-fi beam cannon or something.

Watching people fiddling with electronics always scares me. I wouldn't have dared plug that plug in!

Absolutely loving the kind of subscriber content you guys have been trying out lately. Definitely going in the right direction.

I signed up for a month of premium to try it out and I'm hopefully going to do the year when I get the money. The premium content is becoming more worthwhile. This is a smart way to do it since chances are most casual GB users may not care about videos like this, or Jeff answering some questions. But for me, and I'm sure basically every subscriber it is awesome.

Yeah, being color blind probably does hinder being able to just unplug the thing. Next time, maybe get Will Smith to help. He'll teach you to use tape to place your screws on so you don't lose them. He'll accidentally touch the back of the CRT and fry himself. And he has a "No red here" beard.

Listen to this man, there is still a very real danger after being unplugged.

I would love for the guys to put together more videos about all their old arcade stuff. I find a lot of the part of game history just really interesting and it's something that I can't really get into myself at the moment (maybe in a few years though) so I'd love to see them go through their games, show their work on them, etc.
