The idea behind this game is pretty fantastic. Looking forward to seeing this one in action.

The full title of this game should be "The Castle Doctrine: It Doesn't Mean What I Think It Means"

Nonetheless, looks sorta cool in a social thought experiment kind of way.

That's what I was thinking too. It's tower defense but you also do the invading part, just like Quest for Epic Loot.

This is one cold blooded game, and I can't wait to see a quick look and then get my hands on it.

I love Jason's games, but simply don't have time for MP like his recent ones are.

Isn't this pretty much the same concept as The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot?

Not saying he stole the idea, since he's been working on it for 2 years. It's just funny how two games with exactly the same idea are revealed at about the same time.

Wonder to what extent this is meant to be social commentary because the Castle Doctrine is an actual legal doctrine, related to the Stand Your Ground law that gained attention after Florida.

People are going to actually kill themselves over this game. Imagine keeping your character alive for so long and then one day just slipping up and dying.

I agree it is a must watch. I watched it years ago, but the concepts and topics they talk about are still very relevant.

Is using the character's full name (including middle) meant to be some indication that you're always playing as some kind of psychopath?

Lee Harvey Oswald, John Wayne Gacy, etc.

Ha, I bought this in alpha/beta when Jason first announced it, but thought it was just a quirky one room puzzle game with commentary about home security... had no idea it was multiplayer. I gatta fire it up again.
