I want more videos of Jeff, Brad and Vinny watching and talking over Metal Gear trailers. Just make that a feature.

Holy shit I finally know how to play Sudoku now

"Is that a tail or her belt? Why does she have an eyepatch! What's with her ears? She's got like, a cat tooth."

I like how Vinny picks up on all these cliches while also knowing nothing about them.

Oh, the Japanese.

I don't think brad actually knows any japanese

50 sudoku puzzles is ridiculous. Surely a computer could just spit you out a few thousand?

Yeah, that's the part of the video I latched onto.

at one point some years ago brad got all serious about learning to read some of it. but i don't think that lasted long. and i think he's forgotten what little he did learn by now. the guys still sometimes ask him to decipher it though, which i find hilarious. he will make a small show of trying to figure it, say, "uh..." then quietly walk away. :p

Sitting at my desk...at work...in Japan...a co-worker just walked by, "Oh cool! Is that new!"

Then we watched the whole thing together...it was a great bonding moment. Thank you.

Then later...

"I walked by the foreigner's desk today and he was just screwing around."

Listening to Jeff play sudoku is oddly soothing.

Mahjong is roughly like poker. You build sets and discard tiles. You pick tiles from the wall and discard tiles you don't want. You can also pick tiles other players have discarded.

There's a balance between building a set without giving they other players the tiles they want. So there's a bit of bluffing and figuring out what the other players have.

There are millions of different rule sets, so it's pointless to be too detailed, since it will differ from rule set to rule set. But the basics are the same.

My long awaited Sudoku quicklook is finally here.

"I like your ordered approach to sudoku. Just calm and logical."

- Brad, as he implies that sudoku games should not always be approached with logic.

This says so much about Brad's performance during quicklooks.

I like how Vinny picks up on all these cliches while also knowing nothing about them.

I'm also a fan of how Vinny has frequently referenced the John Cena catchphrase since learning it in a WWE Quick Look or something, but never gets it right.

"Are you doing that, like, wrestler thing? The like 'I'm not seeing you' ?"

"John Cena? 'I'm not here'."

He finds a different way to get it wrong every time. It's great.

Wait, Ground Zeroes is set in the 80s, yet features equipment from the 2000s? Welp.

Yeah there weren't giant robots and flying scooters and codecs in MGS3 already.

HAH! I noticed that Snake is totally smoking an e-cigarette. Is that more advanced technology the CIA has been hiding from us, like the car that runs on water, free energy, teleportation, that black goo??

I'm going to go back and watch all the X-Files to see if Cigarette Smoking Man ever has an e-cig.

Is no one gonna comment on Jeff just fucking wrecking that sudoku? Good on you, man.

So $30 for a tutorial mission with side ops pack in? Remember when the Tanker mission just strait up came with MGS2, and how the Virtuous Mission just came with MGS3? I guess games must be damn expensive in this day and age, especially when you have a tv and film actor to say all those lines.

When did eroge get so mainstream? Why is there such an oversaturation of waifu games or waifu mechanics into just about everything? It feels like around the time that anime started becoming largely slice of life and cute girls doing cute things, a lot of Japanese games started adapting the same properties.

I don't understand Japan anymore. Send help.
