I am casting my vote for Planescape Torment as the next game in this series. I know Vinny would be on board with this decision.

I'm glad they went back to Daggerfall. I think they missed some doors in the big room (not attic) upstairs. Other than that the game looked like it was bugging out like a mofo.

Did Vinny really just refer to the green and orange colour coding in the map legend as "the green and the other green"?

yeah its actually supricing how many of the giantbomb staff are coulor blind. that what happens when your a man since women cant be colour blind

Seconded. Game looked somewhat janky, but still had an interesting premise. In other words, perfect for this PC gaming duo.

This could become one of my favorite series for me not being a PC gamer if they do cover any and all PC games that people might have missed or introducing some of the old favorites.

I was happy to see so many LEGO Island requests on the chat when this was live. It would please me greatly if Dave and Vinny visited said island sometime. :)

Missed this live, but that's because I was probably in class. I don't know when this was live though. So maybe I wasn't...? Either way, being a subscriber is paying SERIOUS dividends now. I'm probably gonna hit up annual next month.

pro tip guys... install a DosBox Frontend GUI

There's a bunch of them listed on the downloads section of dosbox's website:

The one that I use is DosBoxer, but i'm sure they all work basically the same. The way it works is, you can use this as a list of games, and it'll load it up using DosBox, except you won't have to mount anything, or navigate to the folder every time.

I only clicked cause it had a pixelated lady on the thumbnail.

I love these videos :) too bad the game seems to pay for its huge scope with lots of empty copy&paste areas and bugged out quests.

Go Ultima IV! Just do yourselves a favor and read the start of an FAQ for 10 minutes or so beforehand, because the game doesn't really do a great job of conveying what you should be doing at first.

@Wandering_Idiot: It was, it was also crazy broken, look at the issues they are having, and then take a look at the patch revision history. http://www.uesp.net/text.shtml?dagger/files/patch213.txt Then a huge chunk of the dungeons were randomly generated so you will have doors that just open to a wall and things like that.

I had so much fun in that game as a kid. My favorite thing was getting my climbing up and then just scaling walls.

Some suggestions for old games. X-Com, I know is on steam, and it has a new game coming out. Syndicate also has a new game coming out, so either that or Syndicate Wars (preferably that one) if you can find a copy. I also really want a new Master of Magic, so maybe that, it's on Good Old Games.

Well, SOMEBODY'S artist figured out how to open Duke Nukem 3D WAD files...

WASTELAND. That's the game they should play. That game seems insane now after how much better game graphics have gotten.

Just FYI, if you configure the midi option in the sound configuration utility (mount it in Dosbox like the game itself) to use MPU-401 and port 330 the game will use much better quality music pieces, not the beeping crap you hear now.
