As if DoW2 would do anything innovative...persistent armies, item hunting, gaining epxerience points and selecting the order of missions is all nothing new. The basic gameplay is the same, only with garrisoning and no basebuilding. It sounds more like an MMO than an RTS, at least for the campaign mode, and we all know how "good" the original game's campaign was. Not to mention that there was a game before with the exact same formula...Worldshift. 

Don't be hating on DOW2. That game is amazing, Its full of epic battles,  badass races, and disgusting deaths...
What more could you want?

 Red Alert  is a classic so of course #3 is going to be good.

I'm not hating on DoW2 (Although it's not my cup of tea, I like the classic RTS formula, whilst I do appreciate the badassery of the Space marines), I just wanted to point out that sometimes, innovation is not the key to a great game. In this case, it's refinement, although not limited to. There are huge and small improvements over CnC3, it's fun, it's hilarious, and the atmosphere and music is great. Co-op renders this game very intriguing and exciting, too.
