Graphics are looking good for these 3DS games.

What happened to "rebooting" the franchise?   

Good lord, this storyline looks terrible, just as bad as RE5's. Lame.

Now that I really think about this I am wondering if this is actually the 3DS version of the Resident Evil game announced for PSP for E3 2009, the big 'Actual New Games for PSP' push. We didn't hear anything about that game this year I believe, so maybe this is that. Which would maybe explain why it looks so good if they have been working on it for over a year already on another platform.

For all of you that are saying that it looks terrible and the graphics suck..if you read the description it says its for the 3DS...that's a pretty damn good looking DS game if you ask me.

The first concept for RE4 was suppose to take place on a boat and then somehow that turned into Devil May Cry for some reason. So whatever happened to Barry Burton ? I thought the ending in RE1 where he lived was the one that was cannon.

Why oh Why is this on the 3DS. By the way if thats ingame HOLY SMOKES the 3DS looks light years ahead of the previous models.  I wonder if this was the game that was announced on the PSP way back when but never came to light. 
 
As for the trailer itself. WTF. I am  very confused and I am a die hard Resident Evil Fan who knows alot  about the franchise but this I can't even guess to what the story is about.

Yip I'm a lemming, this game is probably the final nail in the "will buy a 3DS on launch" coffin!

Excited, but appears to be a lot of properties we saw in RE5. Hopefully real zombies this time? Blah.

I hated RE5, but this game looks interesting. I'll probably play it. 

If that's ingame as capcom are claiming, thats a hell of a feat in itself. 
As for all the rest, you either like it or you don't. I enjoyed 2,3,4 and 5 more than the first, so...whatever floats your boat. 
No point bitching about it...Capcom are more interested in the Japanese players than Western.

This is set before Resident Evil 5, because Jill still has her pre-Ourosboros hair.
 
What I'd like to see is a Resident Evil where the side characters (Claire, Rebecca, Barry, Sheva, ROOKIE COP LEON S. KENNEDY) were all in the same place at the same time.
 
And man, even though Chris has no personality whatsoever, his character model looks so good that he's still interesting to watch.

3DS will be the king of handhelds.  Can't wait for this game.   MUST HAVE RESIDENT EVILLLLLL!

If this is pre RE5 why is Jill the bad guy? It's heavily implied that Chris doesn't see Jill again after they take on wesker in that mansion in the flashbacks until they meet in 5.

Didn't think I would ever buy a nintendo console....since their press conference...i have no choice...and the games look amazing.
