@nicklott: Yep, that's the trick. Grab a guy from the North and have him speak softly and slowly about a simulatery-thingy they and others supposedly love. Next Christopher Eccleston is going to narrate a very soulful ad for the new Microsoft Flight Simulator and you will straight up cry.

I like how this is kind of a 'fuck you' to the people who shit on Train Simulator. It's sort of saying "This is our audience, this is who buys our game, this is who it's made for, and fuck the haters", which I can respect.

That was one emotional trailer for a game about trains... trains = emotion.

Despite being a bit ridiculous in it's seriousness, this trailer was actually pretty damn good.

If I ever get offered a VA job, I'd take it. Easy money, man.

Sean Bean's been involved in VO for a while now, and has been doing O2 adverts in particular for quite some time.

why do people want a QL, there already is at least one, they are only patching the existing game (railworks) for years

That's a good call, I didn't even think of that but you're totally right. I don't know if its a parody per se since it seems to be way too serious, but definitely influenced.
