Not really, I have a PC with a 5850 gpu and a quad core AMD CPU, I wish people would stop talking about gaming PC's like everyone has the top of the line systems.

If the new consoles are cheaper than a new CPU and GPU I will get them instead, console exclusives, not having to worry about mucking around with graphics settings and not having to worry about keeping up with the jones with the GPUs being released each year.

I understand that having the next level of services and user experience is a top priority, but I hope that is strictly half the intention. The other half is dedicated to raw power. Sony should understand that, right now, they are not good at innovation. At this point I think people just want good games, massive amounts of power, and great user experience. For now at least.

This will be very tempting to me if it plays PS3 games, there are a few games that I want to play like Ni No Kuri, Uncharted 3, Last of Us and Journey. Wonder if games like The Last of Us will get PS4 versions?

Why would you say that? People are still buying entertainment products alot in these hard economic times, COD out sells it's predecessor each year, people flock out and buy the new iPad with it's minimal upgrades, people loves games and it has never been so popular and is growing every year.

Unless it turns out to be a more outrageous price than before I'm up for whatever Sony throws at me. At least up to a point I'm not going to get it unless they show some games I want to play on it.

I paid upwards of $700.00 for my 80GB PS3 and never regretted it for a minute and I'm willing to do it again.

If this is anything other then a PS4 announcement, Sony gets total credit for what amounts to a giant Rick Roll on the internets.

Now that we know when PS4 will be revealed, I wonder how and when MS is gonna respond with the reveal of the next xbox.

its obviously the biggest ps3 firmware update imaginable. with 10 updates set to roll out over a 5 week period
