The art looks great but I want more Bushido Blade and less Final Fantasy so many blonde teenagers in this game

Looks the same as previous Soul Caliburs; very shiny and sterile, no dirt or blood, torn clothes or battle damage. Mechanics look the same as well. I don't find any of the characters likable or familiar; Mitsurugi looks kind of like a samurai, so there's that. Otherwise I don't care about any of them. I hope it's good, but without reviews I'm left to conclude that this game doesn't warrant much attention because it's uninspired and too similar to the prequels.

I was kinda hoping it'd be darker and grittier. Not saying this is bad, I just wanted more of a change. And really the swords have faces now? They will be full characters in SCVI

Man I hate to be the one saying this, but I'm seeing Soul Calibur III all over again. I really hope I'm wrong.

This is not Mortal Kombat. It doesn't need to be "gritty." I'd be perfectly happy if they made it a little less Marvel vs Capcom and just balanced the damn game.

I love me some Soul Calibur but I FUCKING HATE the goddam innane dialogue that the characters spout! Hope there is a way to turn it off or put it in japanese so I don't have to understand what they're saying.

i dont understand the point of this game. they use all the old characters templates and basically just give them younger looking skins. they might as well have just made soul caliber origins. this is extremely dumb.

i swear the narrator sounds like xemnas from kingdom hearts 2 O_o and i havn't played a soul calibur game since 3 and that was the gc version with link in it which i did like using

Kinda tired of this series. Nothing much change, not even graphically.

The shuffle of the cast is "ok".

The games looks decent though.

Looking forward to this although I've always thought the series should incorporate more weapon to weapon impact as opposed to weapon on character. Would add a level of skill and make it more realistic, if you know what I mean?

That was number two not three. Now back on topic, I like Astaroths new look, and I think the new girl looks liek an intresting character. My favorite of the announced characters so far has to be Z.W.E.I and E.I.N
