DreadOut and Among The Sleep were great, thanks for checking them out! I don't know how I'll be able to sleep for the next few weeks, I can still hear the woman laughing.

God damn this was awesome. Patrick is really kicking ass with the extra content. Finally a proper rig to stream some horror. So glad that he got the new pc from a community member.

Hope to see many more of these in the future !

It's always fun with more Fatal Frame games...even if this happens to be an Indonesian "homage" to Fatal Frame.

@patrickklepek I went home for lunch, by myself per the usual, started your video enjoying some left over pizza.

First monster that pops up in the mine, I jump up shut all my doors, close the video and my lunch is OVER, I need to be around people. Done with that scary mess! But I will watch the rest soon, because this is a wonderful feature and love to have more scoops on the site :)

Yep. Chat was super excited about the whole thing and everyone was having a good time. Except when @patrickklepek mispronounced my username at the end there. Then things got really heated. People were obviously furious at him.

No one was mad. I wasn't mad. I'm just glad he's gonna play SCP Containment Breach.

Thanks for the nightmares I had after watching this live. Really though, I'm glad the features back.

Holy shit I had the same problem when I was doing videos on games for youtube. Still haven't figured out how to do multiple audio sources.

Was fun to watch. Only complaint is that we can't see the fear on Patrick's face as he plays. I'm wondering if one of those glow in the dark necklaces that are all the rage at raves and stuff would be enough to illuminate him properly.

I don't like scary games but I watch these because luckily Patrick can handle talking to himself for the most part. Every time he said anything it was pretty much exactly what I was thinking.

Someone recommended an infared light, which would keep things dark for me but light for everyone else...gotta look into it.

I enjoyed this last night. The only comment I would have is the inset box with Pat's face could be a bit smaller, or perhaps not there at all during the game. I can tell very well by voice how it is going for him... not a big point, though.

That has to be damn difficult to stream on your own, especially when the particular games at hand demand a very specific visual and audio balance.

I gave Patrick a lot of crap back when he tried to stream on the Macbook air, but I've gotta give him credit, he learned how to use a PC damn fast. Very few hiccups, and decent quality all around.

Is anyone else having problems streaming this? Every time I get to the gameplay section the video starts freezing and unfreezing.

That Indonesian game legitimately seemed like a MUCH scarier game than Slender the Arrival. I love this feature, it makes me want to play these creepy games for myself.

I felt like the kids jumping on you in Slender was a bit of a lackluster scare in comparison to Slenderman creeping, and then Slenderman is lower than the fucking twisted face of the ghost screaming at you in DreadOut. Among the Sleep doesn't seem anywhere near as scary, but it looks like a really cool idea.

Loving this feature. Patrick suffers so I don't have to.

I'm a huge fan of horror movies and therefore love horror games in theory, but in practise I have half a dozen of them sitting unfinished or barely started on my Steam list...

Ok, it's kinda funny that the Horror concept page is apparently about some specific game, but it doesn't say which in the description, and there are several totally unrelated games (though all horror games) linked to the page.

As I live in Norway I didn't get to see this live (it was on like 6am here), but I really loved this!

In general, Patrick's output has been absolutely fantastic lately. Playing games that no one else of the crew plays and making great content. Keep up the good work Patrick!

This is (so far, at 17 minutes in) what I've been hoping Spookin' would eventually be. Great job, Patrick!

Re: Slender: The Arrival: My big disappointment with this game, other than the length, was how easy it was to basically break it. Shift key + some quick juking is pretty much god mode, especially against the runners. Even when you run out of stamina, the runners slow down and never catch up to you, and you're good to go as long as Slendy isn't chilling right behind a corner.

Problem is, the AI is almost too aggressive and cheap to play it straight. Couldn't tell you how many times Slendy teleported in front of me for a cheap, unavoidable kill, and he is CONSTANTLY on your ass in the 8 pages level, which is more infuriating than scary. If the whole game had been more like the first and fourth levels, it would have been a classic.

Edit: Okay, saving the rest for later until I play the DreadOut demo. Looks awesome, and I want to experience it myself.

That lullaby is Swedish and is called "Trollmors vaggsång" (Trollmothers lullaby)

Yeah, that's a song I was sung a lot as kid. I was just about to ask if it's something that non-Swedish people know of. Maybe it's also common in other languages?

I don't know if this is addressed later on in the stream, but the audio is blown out so much. I don't know how he'd fix it, but it would be a good idea to turn down the mic audio so it doesn't sound like you're yelling into the mic when you're just talking into it.

That said, the reason I love Spookin' with Scoops is that I have no tolerance for horror games of any kind, so I'm fine with letting Patrick scare himself on this stuff and I get a more tolerable way to experience this stuff.

Edit: I can't see a damn thing in the second game.

Video quality is still not the best. Patrick, you plan on encoding at higher quality? It still looks pixelated from your original stream. But anyway, at least it's not choppy anymore!

Seriously, these videos are some of my favorites simply because you actually get into the game's horror aspect.

Nothing worse than watching someone play horror games while they're trying to show how tough they are by playing a section they've clearly done 4 times already, all while sitting in a brightly lit room.
