I wish this video worked... I'm interested in this game.  It's at least trying to do something different in the MMO space.  I don't need another WoW clone.

Well, it's an MMO to play for a little while before going back to WoW.  The only thing looking remotely challenging to WoW right now is The Old Republic.  I really have a fair amount of hopes for that.

Id probably care about this more if the new WoW expansion and Old Republic MMO werent coming out next year as well. As a trekkie this looks like ass!

The thing I've always kind of hated with Star Trek is the beam weapons. I think it cripples the action and just looks weird. That said I'm still a trekkie, but ya know.. it could be so much cooler. 
 
Oh and this game seems... idk.

Still not interested. I like Star Trek and all, but I can't see this being very good. Now the new Star Wars MMO looks like it might be worth a test drive, but mostly because of BioWare's involvement.

You'd think it'd be easy for them to handle the bridge.  Except for the occasional yeoman or security officer, everyone generally sits still and taps on their console.  To judge from this video, though, its full of unnecessary and poorly animated theatrics.
