Is it just me, or did they rip off that introductory line of the bad guys from Joker's party crashing scene in The Dark Knight?

This looks fun, and I'll take any excuse to go on a mission with Wrex and Jack again. It's clearly the last piece of Mass Effect 3 DLC, since it's a send off to all of the characters from the 1-3 story.

Didn't buy any of the other ME3 DLC (except the Extended Cut), but I may just jump back in for this.

The fuck is with the continued prequel events side story bs. I'm not going to replay ME3 and I sure as heck am not going to reload my dead femshep at a point before she died. Their are so many cool things they could have done with the dlc besides "more shepard" but nope, gotta wank the fans.

@forkboy: I completely agree, regardless of the ending's quality. The way it actually ended makes any DLC take place before it, entirely meaningless.

Can't do it. At least not yet. I'm still heartbroken and a little bitter on how bad the ending was. Mass Effect for me is like that ex-girlfriend you can't really talk or think about too much.

Yeah, I'm not feeling this at all. I would love to be sucked back into the Mass Effect universe, but the entire way they explained the ending just ruined anything that would happen after that, and I have no interest in playing stuff that takes place before it either. They need to do a seriously convincing retcon with ME4 to have any chance.

According to people datamining the Reckoning MP dlc theres passive abilities for Wrex, Miranda, Jacob, Jack, Samara, Grunt, Kasumi, and Zaeed added in. This DLC can only be played after the Citadel II mission (halfway point of the game) and a character's questline has to be completed for them to show up, so no Thane, Legion, or Mordin (even if mordin survives, though I bet he'll get a mention if you got him through alive) Apparently Thane gets a mention too. Basically it seems that the focus was to give the squad that barely got to do anything in 3 a meaningful inclusion. Theres also mention on twitter of an actual boss for this dlc, and collectors being fightable in the Armax Combat Arena VR Simulator (I think its like pinnacle station but for the multiplayer content, to keep that stuff immortalized for SP)

The person trying to kill Shepherd is actually Shephard's clone the Illusive Man created in case the original Shephard went rogue.

Wow, I actually facepalmed at the intro with what Anderson was saying, but it looks so dumb it might actually turn around and be awesome. Plus, Shepard gets his WHOLE crew together it seems like, everyone from the first and second game! It looks fun, but man I am so burnt out of Mass Effect right now that I feel sick when I imagine myself playing it.

a full game with short-story format segments like this DLC would be really cool. I never really needed the overarching megastory of saving the galaxy. It might be even cooler if you just kind of stumble into it in the third game in a series as the story segments get more involved and start to weave together.

Oh Mass Effect 3.

Leviathan, the piece of the puzzle that makes the whole story arc of the game work? Yeah...that will be DLC. Oh look everyone complained about the side quests and how they wanted more romance and story and time with the characters and something other than just fetch quests? Let us turn that into DLC and call it "Citadel".

If Leviathan and Citadel were put into the main game with the extended ending stuff from the start, I know for a fact the reception to ME3 would not of been so harsh. This looks like a fine piece of content. But not for DLC. This is a great longer side quest that we used to see in ME1 and 2 that totally looks playable. Maybe if I go through and play all the trilogy again I pick this up and experience ME3 right? Who knows.

Makes me want to go and do a run of ME1 where you skip all of the party members until the very end of the game.

Awesome. Just how I want the final DLC to go out. One last chance to chill with the crew.

@tourgen They did, and it was called Dragon Age II. Most people didn't like it. I thought it was pretty great, but I'm the minority if they're to be believed.

As great as this looks, I'm really just done with mass Effect 3. Maybe I'll get the GOTY edition with all the DLC.

Really I want the whole trilogy with all the DLC in one fantastic package, but that's wishful thinking.

I guess I'm in the minority of people who didn't finish ME3 until after all the DLC came out and so found the ending perfectly acceptable. There doesn't seem to be any story justification for this at all (what with the whole "Earth is totally fucked" story beat, but who cares! It looks like a throwback to the best parts of ME2 so I'm down for it.

As long as you view this as "Tales of the Shepard" DLC then everything's cool.

This looks ridiculous. In a good way, I think.

I kidna like this. It seems a bit more Slap Stick, and a bit more focused than what ME3 was. it has a feel good vibe to it, and instead of being saving the universe and ultimate sacrifice, its about recollecting and finishing up stories about these characters and their relationships between one another. This is about Shepard and the Normandy Crew, and not about saving the galaxy. Which I can get behind. Because, what did people think was this DLC be about? What happens to Shepard? The past? More crazy saving the universe stuff? Nah, I think this will do.

If this DLC is indicative to what the next game in the series will be like (focusing on more character interplay than saving the galaxy) than I'm all the more pumped for the next game in the franchise.

This is a shame. It looks like good, goofy fun on the Citadel, which was criminally under-represented in the past two games, but I'm done with Shepard's story. The book is closed. I don't wanna hear any more tales of the Shepard.

Man... imagine if all these pieces of DLC were part of the main game at launch. It would have been the game of the century. Every piece of DLC has addressed one complaint I had with the original. Leviathan provided an epic WTF moment akin to first speaking to sovereign in ME1. And now this addresses my only real complaint about the game, which was that there wasn't enough closure with your team. I wish they would release a disc with all the DLC already integrated into the main game.
