The Crew Is Coming November 11

The Chicago section in that video just reminds me of the Downtown track in Burnout 3: Takedown, which I guess makes sense since that was supposedly modeled after Chicago.

I enjoyed my time with the Beta quite a lot and I'm actually really looking forward to this.

I just wish the industry spaced games out better. We've had two slow months of gaming and all of a sudden in November alone there are roughly 3-5 big name games dropping that I really want to play and it's not even a case of not enough money but rather not enough time to enjoy them all.

@kri0s: Me too i will never understand the logic of leaving most of the summer open with some minor releases here and there till end of Auguest when stuff starts coming out again and then we just get hit with the big wave which is Fall.

Yeah, the dearth of Summer games sucks, but every studio wants their game to be a fresh part of the lucrative holiday market. I'm not sure how sound that strategy is for anything that's not uber-AAA like CoD, but it's the direction most remotely notable games try to go. I'll pick up Forza Horizon 2 before this in late September, and might end up picking up The Crew later on, so at least in my case, their strategy may backfire. That said, The Crew looks like it will be a hell of lot better than I gave it any hope of being. It doesn't look that impressive graphically, but it looks like solid arcadey fun. I'll give it a look in November, but then it will be competing with GTAV, the Master Chief collection, and Project CARS for my attention. That's probably not the best timing.

Also, it's pretty apparent that no one from Ubisoft has ever been to Dallas. Hint: it doesn't look like El Paso, nor is it anywhere near Fort Stockton. Not that I expect a 1:1 scale (especially of Texas), but they're taking some real liberties there.

I hope there is an achievement or in-game reward for driving EVERY mile of road in this game :D

Yeah, I haven't been to Dallas in a few years, but... I do not remember anything resembling that.

Looking to get in on the next beta to try this thing out. Been awhile since I've played a racing game, so I'm still on the fence with this one.
