Overview

A combination multiplayer and single player game, The Crew follows four-player car teams who work together to complete objectives in cities and countryside across the United States.

Gameplay

The Crew features the entire continental United States and its key cities for players to drive in. The map is divided into five regional areas. At E3 2013, creative director Julian Gerighty claimed that driving from coast to coast in a Lamborghini using only highways takes one hour and fourty-five minutes and that New York City in the game is roughly the size of Liberty City in GTA IV.

Crews

Players can form "crews" with their friends to complete objectives and compete against other crews.

Customization

The game features car customization with three main categories: Street, Off-Road, and Circuit. Players are able to modify their cars to fit into these categories. For example, a Camaro can be customized to be competitive in off-road events.
