Yeah, I hope the mission specific content is released as DLC later after the release cause I already pre-ordered it from Amazon before they announced all the pre-order bonuses.

I'm okay with pre-order bonuses, and can even consider tolerating retailer-specific pre-order bonuses when it's like "get a blue hat" vs. "get a brown suit."  But the fact that two retailers (Gamestop and Walmart) have actual cases in the game as exclusive retailer specific content is just awful.  Hate this.

Fuck this game will never come quick enough.

If we want pre-order bonuses to stop... Do what i'm doing... Don't pre-order, walk into best buy on day one and pick up one of the dozens of copies each big box retailer will have. The need to pre-order is a thing of the past. That's why there are these outrageous bonuses.

if you live in the uk so far there is no preorder bonus announced, thats worse

Damn, this game looks awesome. Haven't really looked too much into it before this.

This game looks great, but it's too bad it has retailer-specific preorder bonuses. As much as I'm sure none of them will be gamebreaking or even that spectacular, the completionist in my likes have everything a game has to offer.

Damn, it seems like the pre-order cases are actually really interesting. Was hoping they would be some minor ones :( (if nothing else, lets hope these come as dlc in the future so the completionist can experience the whole game as it should be..)

If I pre-order I am getting this from Amazon like I always do.

So living in the UK there is no chance of getting any of this, that is quite annoying. 
 
I really don't see why Rockstar need to do this, this game will sell like any proverbial for a large number you can think of anyway, a really bad trend the video game industry is taking.

I love living in Europe when it comes to this. The deals aren't split between franchises here, it all comes in one package. That's why I have the golden guns, war horse and the deadly assassin outfit in my version of Red Dead Redemption.

Store specific pre-order exclusives suck. Now a lot of people won't be able to play this part of the game.

I fully agree.  It makes me not want to pre-order it, despite the fact that I'd be buying it anyway, just so I'm not supporting this trend. Maybe this will be DLC later on?  I've seen that happen before. "

I ordered mine from amazon like i always do.  These pre order specific bonus's are dumb but they are not going to change where i get games from.  Amazon works the best for me and I got 10.00 for preordering it from there.

I wonder if all the DLC is going to be based on film noir classics?

Fuckkkkk I am so glad I got this game pre-ordered, I can't get over how incredible those facial features and voices are

damn shame its retailer specific DLC. 

Awesome, a part of a game I might miss in the full game. 
 
Pre-Order bonus's should stop. Why separate them everywhere when there's the option to put them all in ONE full game? 
 
If you want to make money off it, fine. Do some kind of" all this extra content comes with the game for 5 extra GBP" or something.

These missions will most likely (I'd say its guaranteed) come to all platforms. They aren't just costumes, they are full fledged missions! In time it will be available to all platforms, whatever the version you buy. This pre order-bonus is just marketing. It sucks, but it's not exclusive for all eternity. And if you don't take my word for it, look at the Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony (though lets hope it won't take as long as they did).

While I like what Rockstar is doing with their new performance capture techniques, the game is starting to get less and less interesting to me. Not because of the gameplay, mind you, as that part looks fascinating, but rather in the area of blending the performance with the game. 
 
The faces look great, but at the same time they look too good, too detailed. Like a masked thrown on top of the real character underneath, there just seems to be this "seam" between the face and the rest of the character's body that shows the edge where the performance capture stopped and the standard 3D body began. 
 
To top it off, the sound is still not very well managed from the performances. On every line reading, the voice is just too loud, takes no positional cues nor does it sound affected by the environment, and it's constantly echoing, as though the actor/actress is talking into a wall, reflecting all of the sound back at the microphone. 
 
I really hope this is just a symptom of a WIP game and not the final product.

So this mission is just a playable version of Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang? Word.

The way they do the faces makes the vsual style kind of look like rotoscoping. I like it, but it's kinda creepy too.

Can't wait to play this.  Looks great.  However filthy pre-order "bonuses" means I'll by this used around week 2 or so.

I'm waiting for this to drop in price and hopefully have a "game of the year edition". 
 
Yup, it WAS a buy-at-launch title, until they revealed the preorder "bonuses". Simply disgusting. I have a HUGE back catalog I'm still working my way through, so waiting won't be a problem for me.

As much as I hate pre-order specific bonuses, this looks pretty sweet.

First console rockstar game I didn't buy day one since GTA 3 because these preorder bonuses are nonsense.  Buying used for 10$ less day 3 or four then selling it back for 90% of what I bought it for.  Disgusting

I read about the retailer specific pre-order bonuses, immediately canceled my Amazon pre-order, wrote Rockstar and told them I am now buying a used copy.  No money for you Rockstar.
