Actually Ron Gilbert left Hothead just before the first Deathspank launched.  Regardless I did enjoy Deathspank for what it was and I will enjoy the next installment just as much.  It's certainly not for everybody and humor is always according to personal tastes so that's to be expected.  I just don't understand why people put this game on such a pedestal when it deserves to be rated on it's own merits.  This game is not Monkey Island and shouldn't be judged by your noscon (nostcon?).

Seems like I am one of the few who look forward to playing this. Liked the first game and sure I will enjoy this one just as much. Can agree on the fact that it would have been even nicer if they had finished the Penny Arcade series.

can't wait for the big live live show, live...  But Jeff's new mustache makes it look like he's always joking or something, I'm not sure exactly, but I have a hard time taking him seriously when I see him with the moustache.....

is this a full sequel or an add on? Also its coming out very soon after the last...not sure i'm interested again so quickly....but i guess it will be there when i am.

September 21st?  Really?  I think they would have been much better off waiting a half year or so.  I liked it, but I'm not eager to dive back into Deathspank right now, especially with the holiday game releases starting to hit in earnest.
