The only thing that really makes it tough is going around with very little hearts, which is kind of impossible considering the nature of the mod(there are just more full and partial heart containers than anything else so they pop up more when everything is thrown into one pot). Or just coming up against enemies he literally can't kill like the red eyegores since he has no bow.

@quantris: Good to know! I wasn't sure where that might fall on the offensiveness scale but it felt a bit off-colour to equate silly text with a religious or ethnic dietary standard.

@the_nubster: it's pretty commonly used to mean proper, legit, etc...it's basically what the word means anyway, just with the further expectation within observant communities that it adheres to Jewish law.

I would really only think the time that you could use it improperly would be if you were going out of your way to do so (like say, calling a pig farm a kosher establishment).

Maybe I just can't feel the vibe in the room, but Abby and Alex giving Dan shit for being surprised at what he gets out of chests really rubs me the wrong way.

Obviously he knows it's a randomizer, he's just surprised and excited about what he's getting out of the chests. They're randomized, what you get out of chests is supposed to be surprising.

He does say he keeps forgetting because he's played it so much, but only after they keep pressing him. I'm very early in but it really put a damper on the fun starting out.

It took me until the age of 27 to find out that those skulls with the 4 red lights spinning around them that damage your health as well as your magic are actually "anti-fairies" and can be changed back into normal fairies with the magic powder. Even two decades later, this game is still blowing my mind.
