Man... Harmonix is my favorite and most inspirational developers of this generation. But I'm not going to cross that Kinect line. Not even for them. I love playing, molding, and creating music, but I'm not going to flail about in front of a camera to do so.

If anyone wants to get a sort of idea what this will be:

You wont have projection of course, but imagine having some air controls around the song etc. And of course using the kinnect 2 so more accurate etc.

I love Harmonix as much as anyone, but yeah this is not a thing I need in my life. I LOVED Rock Band Blitz, and I'd love it if they went more in that direction. Motion games are pretty much the opposite of that direction.

Possibly, but I was under the impression the 15 exclusives were Microsoft published, and there was no Microsoft logo anywhere at the end of that video, just Harmonix, and Disney.

If this means more videos of John Drake looking goofy on-camera, hey I'm all for it.

Yay for a new Harmonix game! Luckily they're one of the few devs out there that actually figured out a "good" way to use Kinect, so hopefully they're going to do some awesome stuff with Kinect 2.0. Not sure about the dubstep, though...cautiously optimistic.

I think a demo will help this premise out quite a bit.

"Harmonix" tells my brain to pay attention. "Kinect" tells my brain to think about something else, anything else.

Really love Harmonix, but that's clearly not for me.

Hmm, Alex should have posted this video, we could really use a snarky remark here. When I heard the title, I was expecting Kinect related shenanigans but not like this! Why call it Fantasia? If they are just going the pop/dupstep direction. If you strip this game of its title, maybe people wouldn't be so critical about it.

So dubstep the game presented by Disney? I assume there's some explanation that goes along with what exactly this is because other then YO HARMONIX I dont know what the fuck that was

Only glad the game will exist for the upcoming Quick Look EX. Don't like what the game is showing right now and i love Fantasia.

@mcmax3000: I don't think that they are all necessarily MS published. I believe they just said that they invested in exclusives, and I'm pretty sure a Kinect based game involving a Disney property would not come about without some MS money behind it. After all, with Kinect 2.0 being mandatory, they need something that works and is a lot of fun to make it more attractive element to people who may have little or no desire to use one. Harmonix have arguably made the best and most functional Kinect games so far

I have to wonder, with the trickle of MS related games today (Fable remake, Windows 8 Halo game and this), if MS is getting some of the more casual stuff out of the way to make their "core" game announcements have more impact at E3

I am so jealous of those cool looking people. Not only are they good looking, but they also get to hangout in space and altar the beat of some of today's top 40 in dance and electronic.
