The first patch for DA:O is out but be warned. Many users including my self have experienced issues with the game not starting up after the patch is applied.
I just pre ordered this on steam. It's cheap and cheerful, at that price I don't want a long experience, just something to tide me over while my mate ain't available for Borderlands Coop.
I'd recommend getting a 650w PSU and maybe a slightly better GPU then that's pretty much set to go. And of if you really wanted you could get an i5 CPU, the benefit wouldn't be immediate but it would future proof it abit. Get it on pc, it probably won't make much of a difference having a quad or not. You might have to lower one or two thing but then it'll probably still look a bit nicer than the consoler versions plus the community content will be epic. Funnily enough I meet the requirements exactly. heh.

Yeah I've got a cheap Netgear switch connecting everything from the pc to 360 etc. You see at my Uni they need the pc to be logged in to get access so it's abit messy.
