This Latest Darksiders II Trailer Is All Gameplay, All the Time

Is it just me, or does Death's face look like a certain Protoss martyr? Tassadar.

Pre-ordering a game makes the wait for the release day nigh-unbearable. In the mean time, I play through Darksiders 1 and relive one of my favorite games of 2010.

Well different people have different play speeds. My second Darksouls playthrough is 23 hours (at least by Steam time played, so probably a bit inflated by idling)). But that was a comprehensive one collecting every piece of loot, upgrade and secret.

Darksiders 2 has been stated to be double the size on several ocasions.

im hoping it is just the video, but this game looks in serious need of some vibrant color. too desaturated. which would be a pity since it has a cool art style

If all of mankind is dead then what are they fighting for at this point? Wasn't the eternal struggle between heaven and hell mostly a back and forth shimmy of who gets more souls? Seems kind of arbitrary to be fighting now just for the sake of fighting. When the demons win there will be just demons, and then what will they do? Video game plots, best not to delve into them too much.

I like that this felt like a good movie trailer! My interest increased in this, so am picking up number 1 on the cheap!

I wasn't going to bother when I heard they were introducing (Fool me once, shame on Brutal Legend, Fool me twice...) but I haven't heard or seen anything about it in awhile so I feel safe in a late pre-order.

Wow, great production values, but that just makes me wish it was on the next generation of consoles...

Oooooh I can't wait. Picked up Darksiders because of all the talk about it on the Bombcast some months back.

The darkside is strong in this one.

Just picked up the first one via the Steam summer sale. This still appears to the the tackiest gaming franchise doing the rounds, however, combining the design aesthetics of a metal music video with a PS2 platformer.

@Shaanyboi: Yes you should. The first hour or so is pretty slow, and doesn't even show what type of game it truly is. At least get a bit into a dungeon before deciding.

Huh, that wasn't meant to start beef or anything. It's Darksiders, you know? The games already look like WoW and play like Zelda (and Portal), but that's okay. The first game is well made and engaging. So may this one be. But Death looks like a Protoss to me. Protoss may look like many other things, but Death still looks like one. Not attacking it. Just thought it was funny.

I don't see the resemblance at all.

This game is on the top of my most wanted games of the year.

Darksiders 2 is going to be 30+ hours? The first one wasnt even half of that. This is going to be awesome.
