This first sequence seems a lot different than the first Saints Row game, I'll tell you that much. I don't know anything about the second game, but the first was more or less a poor man's GTA (before the fourth one was released anyway).

The way he talks to himself reminds me of John McClane, which I like. This looks like the action movie a 12 year old would make if they were given unlimited money and time, I love it.

Even the slightest chance that the godawful Johnny Gat character gets killed early on makes me want this game all the more. His Aish storyline in 2 was rubbish.

Haha, so bad. I'm still looking forward to playing this for the ruhdonkydonk gameplay, but ouch, those cutscenes are prime gaggers. I get the whole so-bad-it's-good-thing, but this is just... hoooboy, it's BAD.  So I couldn't help but thinking (maybe that's the problem), where did all the dudes with automatic weapons go when the player hopped out from behind cover? I guess they dropped em all (after missing gloriously) and thought, nah fuck it, let's just run at him and get punched.
