No audio for the first 3 minutes, on high quality anyway. I remember there being audio during this part on the stream.


Edit: actually its not no audio, it's a 3 minute delay between the audio track and the video.

you know what i miss? rallisport challenge 2. if there was one game i was a god at online it was that one. i held a few top times for a little bit. DICE make a fucking rallisport 3 please!

I have two VLC windowns open, with the same file playing in both. The audio is turned all the way down on the one I want to watch, and the second, with the audio turned up, 2m41s behind the other minimized to the tray. It is workable, although crazy.

edit - it seems to get more out of sync as it goes on. I guess this files is totally unworkable then. :/

edit 2 - No, I got it now. Perfect actually. Damn, this is hard work :P

Hopefully it's a problem with the encoding and not a problem with the actual hard drive versions.

Totally watching this in two windows - one with a 3 minute delay as the audio option which watching a muted video. It works. Barely.

at the start no audio, at first I thought something wrong on my end, but no, jtv archive works fine, just like other videos on gb... oh well JTV here I come

@tinodz:  You can tweak the audio timing settings in VLC though... only one window needed, and pausing would still work fine.

I completely remember watching wrestling style monster truck tv thing when I was really young. One of the monster trucks was called grave digger and the driver looked like a grim reaper.

@Fbomb: You can't tweak the audio enough.

It "only" goes +/- 100 seconds.

Edit. 
Disregard that, if you use the hotkeys you can tweak it more.

I'll check this out when I get to the office in a bit, but it will be awhile before a fix  recompresses and makes it to the site.

AUDIO DESYNC SOLUTION: Go download VLC. Install it. Open it. Go to preferences, click Audio on the left. Find the 'audio desync compensation' field, change that to "-157000" hit save and then go open the file. The audio should be synced.

does this only work for PC's why can't i find this setting in my preferences

@PaulM:  click the "all" button in the bottom left corner when in the "audio" tab (its default is "basic"), then click "audio" in the left column and "audio desync compensation" shows up in the middle of the right column :D

Hoop jumping, hoop jumping... oh wait, 'nuther hoop. Just made it! I've got this VLC thing. I see no "preferences" anywhere in its window. I assume I need to download this video now (more hoops!). Then open it in VLC. This entertainment is feeling a lot like work. Wait. Another hoop coming! Late.
