Loved this week's TNT.

Posted by Xshinobi

UT 3 isn't half as bad as you guys make it out to be.

Posted by TruthTellah

Brad showing his mad skills on the big stage!  Enjoyed it.

Next week:  Patrick takes the TNT stage to play -any- game on camera.  Show me your moves, Klepek!

"It looks like Halo"

Ugh

Posted by Yanngc33

Would it be sacriligious to ask for something other than an FPS next week?

Posted by SoundChaser

This was awesome and made me buy UT 2004 on GOG. I played the demo so much back then. I totally forgot how awesome this game is.

Posted by RuthLoose

I've got a suggestion. How about some Super Mario War 1.7 AFE? I will supply the Unreal Tournament announcer soundboard that plays after each death, Whiskey Media brings the modded XBOX or PCs.

"The GIF (Graphics Interchange Format), pronounced "JIF", was designed by CompuServe and the official specification released in June of 1987."

Imbeciles.

What is the intromusic to TNT? It's awesome.

Posted by Baconbot

Really bummed I missed this.

Posted by NekuCTR

Brad was so much better at Quake. He always forgets to watch his back in this.

Posted by selbie

Ugh, great fucking game, but Brad was too anal with weapons fire. In the timeless words of Nero: FIRE EVERYTHING!!

Posted by Cipher76

Ut2004 looks good compared to Quake

Did anyone ever explain why a free-for-all part of the site, turns into members only when it gets archived ?

Posted by MordeaniisChaos

@Cake: Thats the way it is. If you go to justin TV that stuff is probably up there just fine.

Posted by Cake
@MordeaniisChaos: Was hoping there will be a better reason than "it's the way it is", but I can't think of one that makes any sense really.

Why did you guys even bother asking what we might want to see for a TNT?

You said you wanted to play less FPS games, but you don't really seem to have changed that at all, despite many great suggestions by the community.

Posted by ds8k

Had a great time playing last night. :)

ARRRRRRGGGGG I have no internet so I couldn't get in on this. ROGEEEEEEERS.

Posted by deject

Hey uh, guys. It is pronounced "jif." Both are acceptable, but the dudes who made GIF said it should be "jif."

I'm proud: I was the one the hilariously launched Klepek straight off of Facing Worlds at hyperspeed into Erf. It was a joy to hear their outburst of laughter with the 15 second live delay or whatever it is.

Nobody cares because saying Jif sounds dumb. Also it makes no logical sense when the acronym begins with a hard G.

Don't worry about it too much. Sean Coonce doesn't really know much about video games compared to the rest of the GB staff.

GIF or JIF it really doesn't matter. I work in the design industry and none of my colleagues pronounce it JIF.

@ds8k: Yeah, me too. So much fun.

Q3 arena seems to hold up better in the gameplay department, at least it was way more interesting to watch.

Posted by SaintOfKillers
@Khann:  before team fortress 2 the last all FPS TNT was Crysis 2 in march.

It's more the assertion that they are right when they are in fact wrong that bugs me. I don't care how the pronounce it but claiming that people who say "Jif" are wrong when it's the other way around bothers me.

This is my first video after becoming a paid member!! The HD!! It burns my eyes with greatness!!

It costs them time and bandwidth to host these TNTs in HD quality on the site. These versions are a lot better than the ones Justin TV archives. Problem is, apparently hardly anyone watches these archived TNTs so it really isn't worth their time to store them here. But they do it anyway because some subscribers kicked up a fuss.

Because Unreal Tournament 2004 and Quake are perfectly awesome.

Tried watching the whole thing because I missed it live, but I had to give up after the tenth refresh. I just got tired of the video freezing every ten minutes. Tried it in both Firefox and Chrome and they both had the same problem. I thought this problem was fixed?

Posted by Sarumarine

Yeah! UT2004! I actually played the demo a lot in high school during computer programming classes. The teacher was out a lot so we had a few free days. The Redeemer is a lot of fun. And I wish I got to play that Convoy map.

1:56:13: That's me owning the Patrick and the blues with the flag capture. Humping the air.

Oh yeah!

It wasn't working right for me in Progressive (though all other videos do), but Streaming seems just fine... which are you on?

Hahah! Fifth Avenue and Chick-O-Stick's are some of my favorite candy!

Wish I could've jumped on the server during TNT. I played the crap out of UT2004 back in high school. I would've schooled them in some UT. lol @ thinking dodge jumping isn't faster than walking, and I noticed a distinct lack of shield jumping. Yeah, I'm a nerd for UT.

Thanks to Ryan for leaving the server up afterwards so I could hop on then! :)

This was really fun TNT.  I got in during the Facing Worlds part and was probably the most competitive match all day.   I did fraps it and post it on my youtube channel, also put a side by side perspective with the TNT stream so you can see both sides of the battle.

Really think that game mode with instagib will really improve your aim over time.  I might play it some more in the future :O

Posted by Hoshnasi

Sorry the only UT I acknowledge came out in 1999. //ZeonZaku\\

Thanks for the tip. I switched from progressive to streaming and it works now.

Cry some more, this is more entertaining than what they have been playing.

Doesn't matter which setting, it freezes on both. It generally only happens with the longer videos, like TNT.
