I know that when Erich Hartmann strapped himself in his Messerschmitt Bf 109 and fought over the Eastern Front he had this soundtrack rocking. In fact, every member of the Jagdgeschwader 52 loved the indie scene circa 2010 or so. Nothing says propeller era dogfighting quite like this music. KUDOS Wargaming, you have boiled down the essence of the genre in one promotional video.

This is from the World of Tanks dudes. They specifically said they're not making sims. WoT is a solid game though, so this has pretty decent potential. Expect it to be real easy to learn and to probably not have cockpit views.

Seems Alex is the only one working at Giant Bomb today.

The real question here is will this integrate with World of Tanks somehow? Then they can release World of Artillery, World of Calvary, World of Foot Soldier and then we have World of War... hmmm that seems off.

They are making World of battleships and afaik they've also said they will try to make a game that features tanks,planes and ships.

There is also a game called World of Planes which is more simulator orientated. It's made by Gaijin Entertainment, the dudes that made Wings of Prey

It's Wargaming's Russian bias. Planes, tanks, music, doesn't matter.

They haven't gone far enough, yet. Still waiting on a game about warships called "World of Warcrafts".

World War II was apparently all about sunsets and feel-good music.

When he leaves out the unnecessary sarcasm, commentary, pointless sentences and just reports the damn news, I like his writing.
