Taco Ma, the mother of all tacos.

Reminds me of Brad musing years ago about an ancient ancestor of burritos... the "Urrito."

This looks neat!

Cool that Steve brought up the OMSI submarine tour. I live in Portland and have actually taken that tour many years ago.

I keep forgetting there's a game coming out named after my hometown so when I see it I'm just like "waitwhat?"

The only references in fiction I normally see are when it's treated (maybe rightfully) as a craphole by things set in Seattle, or as a fleeting passing reference... so something like this is out of the norm.

I understand why they are called We Plays and don't see a problem with it, it really explains what is being done in the video ' the crew is playing with developers. I just am curious though why was it called a Quick Look Ex? I know an unfinished and quick look ex were getting confused but what did the Ex really stand for exactly?

Its a holdover from the independent days of GB and a refernece to the various Street Fighter EX versions, which were often marketed similar to Direcotr's Cuts of films. Makes sense they would change it considering Street Fighter IV is likely the most recent and final game to make the reference

I mean, I'm fine if they don't call these "Unfinished EX" anymore. It's just semantics after all. BUT, for the sake of archiving, why not put these under the Unfinished category? Right now they're only under the generic "Features" tab and are bound to quickly get lost in the mix. Are there plans to make this a more common series and add a new tab for it under "Videos"?

Ooh thank you that makes sense now knowing their love of the series. Appreciate it.

@cooljammer00: haha yeah I remember that from E3, think it started as them trying to keep things chill because the other two guests were clearly very nervous but it just became them leaning more and more into a sort of ASMR bit.

@redhorn: This, 95% of the time it seems like it keeps the guys from being honest and unbiased about what they're playing, which one of the main reasons why I'm a subscriber to this site. Like with the Dangerous Golf unfinished EX , you could tell the game was garbage and they could too but they had to play nice because the devs were there.

But they got to show the game before release and get some insights into how it was made and their philosophy behind it... plus it wasn't like it stopped them from talking about how much they thought it sucked on the podcast, so you do get their honest views still just not in the same video.

I keep forgetting this game is still in development.

Took the words right of my mouth.

It has been like 5 years since Gone Home and this is only in alpha, getting quite disappointing and forgettable tbh, especially if it will be another short play.

Shoutout to OMSI, Oregon Museum of Science & Industry, in Portland!

So Quicklook EX is now "We Play with"? And is this a regular thing now?

Anyway its good to see more developer interaction on a regular basis. I guess my only complaint is that GB guys have to be in good form around developers to not criticise their product in front of them, but I understand.

It's not like they're replacing the Quick Looks of those games. It's just a change in naming to be more apparent about what the video actually is. Calling it a Quick Look EX was essentially a disservice to Quick Looks proper.

Imagine if a couple brought their newborn baby round to your house.

Even if you thought it was the devil incarnate you'd smile politely and coo at the appropriate times. The worst you're gonna do is point out the small pile of sick it's left on your carpet.

Not saying Tacoma looks bad, or that the duders are gonna hate it, but people who think that the guys should rip into an unfinished game with the developers sitting beside them need to be as critical as they would be in a review or traditional QL.
