It's weird how many bosses in this game can be beaten by simply strafing to the left or right until they whiff an attack and then smacking them.

Multiplayer co-op makes boss battles a total joke; sometimes it's like the AI can't even figure out who to target, with the boss just pivoting awkwardly, and I remember that specifically happening with the two bosses around Heide's Tower of Flame.

Not really weird, just unfortunate. I wish these games had more puzzley bosses. I guess you can say they put thought into the attack patterns/animations, but it isn't enough to make most boss fights meaningfully different.

I get so frustrated watching brad play games. Trying to find a secret door from a very obvious troll post for 5 minutes just makes me angry.

That sleeping scorpion guy has a very... interesting drop if you fight him. I hope I didn't miss out on something by killing him but it seemed worth it.

Oh wow, this was incredible. Between the gear eating and Brad's scream of anguish, this might enter the pantheon of my all-time favorite GB moments.

Brad makes money each time a person rages and buys a game just to prove a point that they can play the game better.

If you hit it 3 times, it becomes Rubbish. The rule is to hit it once to check if it's mimic, regardless of the type of the chest.

Demon's souls was the one who has the most variety weirdly enough.

Was it the boss's attack that killed you just as you killed it, or did you die from the poison?

It is amazing to see how Brad transformed into a proper Souls games enthusiast.

@narujoe93: You probably died just a moment after the boss was defeated, so it registered the boss's death... and then you just died and it counted it as a normal death.

Oh, dude. That seems so obvious in retrospect.

My guess is timing. You died after the boss while Vinny died at the same time. Could be wrong though.

I think @vinny should get in the habit of using Estus more then Healing gems, especially when just exploring an area. I tend to use gems more against powerful enemies or bosses since they are generally finite, but as a last resort. I'm very stingy with them and have around 50 of them.

@vinny I'm sure you figured it out by now, but you didn't miss anything with Freja's soul (spider boss). Pretty sure you had her (normal icon'd) soul in your inventory :)

If you complete his "quest" he'll give you the ring + branch of yore + teach a gesture. So you're not really missing out on anything unless you want the gesture trophy. I killed him on purpose to get the ring sooner, it's no biggy :)

Brad's indecision is killing me (as usual). Also he is blind and totally freezes everytime something goes wrong. But hey, that makes it funny to watch.

Having completed the a couple of days ago its amusing watching the guys stumble around.

Sweet mother of god, I thought it would never come! SO HYPE FOR THIS!

The odd situations Vinny and Brad often find themselves in are so entertaining. It's also great seeing both of their characters. I had been through the area Vinny was exploring but had yet to see the area Brad explored, so I got the enjoyment of knowing what's going to happen next while also learning a few things. Great videos, can't wait for more.

FYI you will spawn at the last bonfire you lit, even if you did not rest there. Not a huge deal but it can be useful in some situations

My problem with puzzle bosses is that it's extremely difficult to do right, and if you don't, that kind of boss just seems like a huge, annoying gimmick. At least to me anyway.
