Wolfenstein: The New Order Introduces You to Frau Engel

Looks like fun. I'm not expecting anything more than running around shooting Nazis. It looks like they're trying to be interesting with the story, so that's a bonus. All I want from Wolfenstein is for the shooting to feel good. I'll be shocked and pleased if there's more interesting dialogue like this, but it's not why I'm here.

That was awesome. I'm seriously really excited for this, perhaps unreasonably so. But I vastly prefer shooters of this style to the more modern conventions, and they simply don't make games like this too often anymore. This is definitely one of my most anticipated games of the year.

Yeah, honestly, a Wolfenstein game by the guys behind The Darkness and the Riddick games, and one that seems to avoid some of the bullshit of post-Halo FPSes, such as the two weapon limit and regenerating health, I'm looking forward to it. Last year's Rise of the Triad was great, and this seems to be more of that with an actual budget.

Really strange, I am on a train in Germany at the moment and it's nothing like that. Apart from the mech of course.

This looks cool. But I'm sure at it's core it's still just going to be a " mindless " shooter, so I'm cautiously optimistic about this one.

Somewhere between Inglorious Basterds and Sky Captain And The World of Tomorrow. I dig both of those movies, so maybe this will be okay. But the same could have been said about Iron Sky and fuck that movie.

They don't want to just target Wolfenstein fans, they are broadening its appeal by adding an interesting narrative.

Pleasantly surprised with the German voice acting.

I'm pretty excited for this. Maybe this will be the story-driven FPS I wanted in Rage.

Well, as someone who hasn't really given a monkey's about this game until now, that trailer has my interest piqued. It had personality.

They have already shown 2 action packed trailers prior to this.

And judging by reactions to them, people are looking forward to the game too.

This would be a great trailer for a game that everyone was behind and cared about, as far as reactions go, this seems like a game nobody asked for and nobody really wants, this trailer should have been action packed.

I like that they stuck with actual German. Pretty cool performance capture too.

I think their cut scenes, their sequences are horrendous. Comparing to the ingame "scenes" where he puts on the coffees on the table. They should've just skip making cut scenes and went for all in game. if possible.

Funny twist: the actual German version's voice cast is worse than the English one.

+10 respect for actual swastika usage. Not being scared of a symbol that should be recognized for it's evil history rather than forgotten is appreciated. (I'm looking at you Captain America movie.)

Man, if not for inFamous coming out, this would probably be my most anticipated game of the year...now it's only the second most anticipated. Still good, I guess!

This game gets a point for seemingly having an actual German speak German.

Am I the only one weirded out by an espresso machine that pours 2 full cups of coffee from a portafilter? Anyway, looks fucking good. They're not quite hitting that Tarantino level of tension, but good on them for trying something.

I liked the scene. Dubious about the game.

Hugo Boss didn't design that uniform, that's for sure.

Drew Nazi!!!

Even without the amazing occult stuff of Return to Castle Wolfenstein this still looks in the spirit of that game. Looking forward to playing it

was half expecting Rammstein's Engel as the music for this trailer.

I like how they build new passenger train cars just so their giant robots can walk through them.

I like this. Nice eyes....it's a bit over the top, but it looks like they are not going to pull many punches. The more mature theme the better in my book as long as it is cognizant of it's world, and not purely exploitive. Jacked up on drugs (ie-meth)-New Order would have it's place. The mix of good and bad science (driven by non-science imperatives) would be another, which is I think what I was also seeing there.

Fucking spiders, man! The bane of everyone's existence.

Hope the game is solid, could use a good Nazi shooting simulator.
