The "Click to Close" really threw me off for a second, there.

Nice one, Patrick ! At the very beginning of the video I thought it was an update from Josh Parnell, the developer of Limit Theory (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4r6N7_HAsZo). You do sound like him at times. And, yes, that's a compliment. Keep up the good work.

Hey Patrick, thanks for giving Persist a try! When I first played it I also thought "hey, another cute platformer", although the mechanics hooked me. I was pleasantly surprised by the ending, and appreciate that you went into it cold. I'm also a big fan of these games that give you a full experience in a short amount of time.

And yes, I'd love to see you do some pixel art as well!

For anyone else looking for it, the first game is spelt "orbitor" not "orbiter." Took me a bit to find it.

Jeez, wasn't Worth Playing/Reading moved from Friday to Monday to get away from the congested content?

@wjb: Yeah, funny enough. It kinda worked against its favor this week, huh?

I think that cut to the game from last week was maybe a little too jarring, @patrickklepek, at least without any context to what you were doing. I could see someone who hasn't seen the previous video wondering what happened. Maybe some kind of transition or title could help?

Also, I think you've started to get away from what I liked about this feature--the quantity of games you show. Instead, you now choose two games a week and spend more of your time talking about why you find that game interesting or not. This can be fun to listen to, but I feel it isn't in the spirit of the feature, which should focus on highlighting the games themselves and not your opinion on them. I don't mean to sound harsh, but I just wanted to voice my thoughts on Worth Playing in its current form.

Since Persist was pretty much this:

I really wish it would just have ended with the Monty Python foot.

Don't be afraid to use video transitions or text to label one game as different than another. I know you're futzing around with Adobe Premiere! Don't be afraid! Get in there!

There are several games that use this gravity/space theme. Orbitor reminds me of these ones which I like:

-Art Style: ORBIENT

-Orbital

Also, Persist reminded me of Poo in Dalaam in EarthBound.
