E3 2011: Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team
THQ, you better not be trying to migrate Warhammer 40K to the console for keeps. I will have to burn all of the staff for heresy if this is so.
Here's hoping this is just another trailer that convientaly leaves out the PC logo at the end for absolutely no fucking logical reason.
I love how THQ seems determined to take WH40k into every genre possible. They got a strategy game, RPGish RTS, FPS, and now a dual joystick shooter. What's next? A 40k flight sim?

Fucking god damn it, a cash in arcade game. At least put it on steam.

This is just copy and pasting art assets from DOW2... Now I know why support for Relic's current games has been so crappy lately,
What the fuck are you talking about? They switched to steamworks to better support their current games. Also the relic logo wasn't anywhere near that trailer.

Yes they did, and i thought it would mean better support as well... instead steam servers go down all the time and boots you out in the middle of a match giving you a loss. Patching is just as infrequent as it was on GFWL and the last patch actually reintroduced some old bugs that had been patched out before.

Lets get something straight:
- Steam server for their games do not go down all the time. Me being a person who cloaks over 35 hours a week on Retribution, I would know.
- If you get booted from a game because of maintenance it does not give you a loss. They have stated this themselves and it has happened to me.
- The frequency of their patch is not a matter of concern. As Retribution has only been out for 3 months and has been patched over 15 times.
- If patch 3.15 reintroduced any serious bugs they would have promptly dealt with it as they have already proven they have that capacity.
- If such bugs you were referring to have to do with anything with pathing, those arn't bugs. Retribution is being played on an old graphics engine and it's part of the game.
Therefore anything you say about Relic and this video is invalid.

- I dare you to go into general chat in Retribution and say that Steam servers are stable. You will get flamed to no end. Even though they SAY that when the servers go down for maintenance you won't get a loss it is not always true; I have had both things happen to me.
- Retribution has been patched 3 times since its release and 2 more times to fix bugs that those 3 patches caused (one of those ridiculous bugs made the Farseer hero appear as a black box and took TWO WHOLE PATCHES to get rid of). You are counting support that it received before release during beta, which indeed was good, but has since fallen off of a cliff. The balance lead, Task3r, was reassigned to other projects leaving us with the infamous "apo heal is fine", "Baneblade can't cap points" bC.
- As for pathing... I don't know why you are bringing up inherent problems the game already has in order to strengthen your argument. This game has a ton of bugs, some of which have existed for a very long time -->http://www.gamereplays.org/community/index.php?showtopic=764294
...Anyways my main point is: This game looks like a shameless reallocation of existing assets in order to appeal to console gamers in what looks like a shoddy half-assed fashion. Instead of making this crappy lead in attempt to Space Marine they should fix their existing products.

How about you look at the video one more time and tell me where you see a Relic logo.

So what are we talking about then?
About your original assumption that Relic's "bad" support for their games has anything to do with this one.
What's with all the WH40K games out recently? It's a good IP, but if they're going to spread it out like this they need a few more developers. They're using the same models from DoW2; from a completely separate genre and platform. That's something I would expect from modders, not professional developers.
