Gameplay
Warmonger connects the two game genres MOBA and MMO. In a never ending war between two fractions, players fight for territories to get access to higher level dungeons and therefore better equipment and materials. Players build there defenses through a legion and fort system, plan their attacks and strengthen their position.
Battles - with up to 15 players on each side - feature well-known mechanics such as Towers, Jungle Mobs or the Nexus that needs to be destroyed to take ownership of a land.
Players are able to gain fame in a rotating ranking system through great battle performance. If enough fame has been collected these few players are empowered to be officers who in turn have the power to organize the ongoing war through world commands.
Character Classes
Players can choose between three different character classes, each with their own unique traits. The selection of a class defines what kind of warrior a player wants to be on the battlefield in the long run - a tank, a damage dealer, a spellcaster or the field medic.
Guardian
Guardians are the though, strong class that doesn't ask many questions and gets the job done with high health pools and armor. They take on the tank role on the battlefield. They use large hammers and portable heavy guns.
Punisher
Punishers prefer to be more precise than Guardians and support a more agile play style. Their motto is: get in, deal huge amounts of damage and get out - all in the blink of an eye. With their arsenal of bows and daggers they are capable of changing the fate of the battle and punish the enemy while doing so.
Saints
Saints fulfill the role of spellcaster and healer in the game. Either way, they deal large amounts of damage with spells such as lightning strikes or keep the squad members alive with well-timed healing. In both cases Saints are always welcome on a team.
