Due to lack of translations, our store only sells the US chronology of Final Fantasy games, for instance. That's reasonable. But according to tally, we're also missing half the Commodore 64 games available on the Europe virtual console. And I wonder if the US gets emulations of the NES/HVC editions of Zelda, Metroid, and Mario Bros 2, while Japan gets emulations of the disk system versions (with better save capabilities?) And, translation be damned, aren't there some sweet games only on the wii shop in Japan that'll never be sold elsewhere: games so good they're worth playing along with a PDF file of someone's language FAQ? Can you get overseas games on your American wii without mod chipping or serious hacking, and more importantly, is there enough goodies to bother? (I don't suppose Tetris battle gaiden is available.)
