A time paradox is when a person who travels in time does something that influences their past self in a way that traveling in time in the first place would not be possible or not have occurred without the first intrusion.
The concept of a character leaping forwards or backwards in time.
A mechanical system designed to capture or cause harm. Either the player can set traps for their enemies or others set them for the player.
A trash mob is any monster that is not a boss in dungeons, primarily seen in RPGs and MMOs.
Treants (Ents) are walking, talking trees. Typically they move and speak extremely slowly relative to most other creatures.
Trolls are a mythical race of creatures that have been interpreted many different ways in games.
Reptiles known for their hard shells.
Weapons designed to be wielded with both hands, typically due to their size in relation to the one wielding them. Examples include longswords, claymores, lances, scythes, and giant hammers among others.
A dragon that has been resurrected after death. Undead Dragons are often weaker but more terrifying than their living counterparts.

Items found in video games that serve little or no use to the player, other than to be sold to NPC vendors for money.
A fanfare played at the end of a battle in which the player is victorious.
Voice Acting is the art of providing voices for characters in games, television shows, films, radio programs, and other forms of media.
The ability to communicate via voice.
War is a series of organized conflicts carried on by force of arms between two or more nations or groups. Whether it never changes or has already changed is up for debate.
A shout to intimidate opponents or inspire allies' during battle.
An individual who specializes in armed combat.
WASD, or WADS, is the most common and often the default setting to move the player character in computer games with a first or third person perspective.
The ability to walk on water. Sometimes depending on a character's speed (IE slowing down will result in them sinking).
Many popular multiplayer games (particularly for PC) may integrate player or clan/guild information into a web interface to be accessed from anywhere. The player may also be able to see your current achievements on his or her game.
When games ship with website integration. These sites can be used for viewing user-uploaded gameplay videos, stat tracking, and browsing user-generated content.
Possess the magical power of life. White magic are spells and abilities that heal damage, cure poison, and even revive the dead.
Air moving with a considerable force. It's important to take wind into consideration when playing golf.
Wolves are mammals closely related to dogs and are known for howling in moonlit forests and hunting in packs to pester players in numerous RPG games.
A race of wolfmen in the Warcraft universe, brought into the world by Archmage Arugal and Velinde Starsong. They were added as a playable race in the third WoW expansion, Cataclysm.
Wraith are apparitions clad in dark robes. They are often in possession of scythes, making them somewhat akin to Reapers. Some have magical abilities.
A type of dragon with wings instead of arms. They were a heraldic symbol of war and pestilence. Wyverns and Griffons were said to be rivals and sworn enemies.
Yetis are a race of mythological creatures. They are typically large, white-furred humanoids with sharp teeth and claws.
Zombies, more accurately called the walking dead, are reanimated corpses who feed on the living, and have become a ubiquitous video game enemy. They often move slowly, but can be deadly in large numbers, which is unfortunately how they tend to travel. Shotgun time!
