X-Mercs

History

In 2040 the Advina comet brought the mysterious blue advinite crystals to Earth. These proved to be a powerful source of energy but very soon the emanations of crystals started causing horrible mutations, and the humanity had to hide in great metropolises, protected by force fields, withstanding the attacks of the aggressive monsters the terrane plants and animals had turned into. Thus started the mutant war in which military corporations proved a powerful and deadly weapon. But the strife for the survival of human species was just beginning…

Base

The private military corporations are the bulwark against the terror engulfing Earth. The player becomes a head of one of such corporations, the first task being to build a military base, collect resources, strengthen the defenses and hire researchers. Here the mercenary squads are formed, their weapons and skills upgraded and strategies worked out to fight against appalling mutants and treacherous aliens. Here is the stronghold from which the battle for the homeworld of Man will start.

Enemies

The mutant monsters created by the advinite emanations are a formidable adversary, but still they are not the greatest trouble. As if it was not enough, the aggressive aliens start their invasion. Again, the player’s mercenary squads stand up against this new threat. Dozens of vile creatures wielding great powers are exterminated on various battlegrounds, from the ruins of long-forgotten cities to the alien spaceship’s board. Yet another task is to discover over 100 alien technologies which will be of great help to Earth defenders in their fight.

PvP Mode

While mutants and aliens pose an obvious threat, there is yet another danger which the player will face: the adversaries from other corporations. Thus, it’s vitally important to fortify the base and work out the strategy for the turn-based PvP-battles. Yet, where there are foes, there are friends too: the players can join in the Syndicates to take part in joint operations and use special closed chats to plan their next tactical moves.
