    How would I know if MS released them? Now with the price cuts coming, I'm thinking of getting a new 360, but only if it runs a hell of a lot cooler. Quieter would be a plus.

    I went to Best Buy to exchange my broken 360 from '06 for an '08 model and it is noticeably quieter. Dunno if it's cooler because I never checked that on the older model.

    Most of the latest models out now(from Elites +) have the new chips, which make them cooler. As for quietness, it could be with the new 60GB model.
