I don't know why, but my old 360 seems to have trouble reading the
USB to pick up the account.  Also, the USB connectors seem extremely
loose than what I remember.  Right now, I turn on the Xbox, I then
plug in my USB & it wants to format it whereas only the night before
it picked it up.  Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

Or will I have to constantly do an account recovery?  Honestly, I don't
know why Microsoft couldn't just let me have the same account on
two machines, only allowing one login at a time. Like Steam.  You
think this would be hella easy than having to move around the damn
account on a goddamn USB stick, that doesn't seem very fuckin'
    reliable. :(

This happened to me last night... Ever since the first time I got the RROD I have kept all my saves/my account on a USB drive. I was playing ME, shut everything down to have supper, then a couple hours later went to play some NHL12. But now it says that my USB drive needs to be formatted...I REALLY hope that I didn't lose all of my saves, because if I did, then I am setting everything Microsoft I own on fire and uploading the video to YouTube.

RROD twice and then deleting all my saves is unacceptable in 2011. Period.
