It's the 2nd anniversary of Halo Anniversary so they're making Halo Anniversary 2. Literally Halo CE in 1080p 60fps but you can toggle back to 720p 30fps if you want to see what the game looked like in 2011.

Is this real? I'm getting an Xbox One for Titanfall and I was thinking of also getting that dumb/awesome looking controller with it but if they're bundling it with a dumb/awesome looking Xbox, I'll get that instead.

I don't even know. If you remember how secret-strange Neogaf works, so. I guess the mods messaged him, checked if he's somehow legit, and he seems fine now and so didn't get banned. Then he posts this here Titanfall Console, that certainly looks badly photoshopped on the right part. The gray part of the console on the right part doesn't match the black pattern on the box. I mean if he's already legit, why would he post a bad photoshop thing? Anyway, I dunno. Its just amusing. 77 pages of foamy mouths.

It's so insane that this all might be a controlled leak from Microsoft to garner some hardcore positive support but also used in an attempt to close up leaks from people like CBOAT. Then there's the implication that journalists are being used by Microsoft for this purpose. It's insane. What the hell is going on?

well technically Halo 3 was never "HD" 640pppppssss.

We just got an "HD" version of Tomb Raider, a game that was released less than a year ago, so I guess developers/publishers are crazy enough to try it.

...in all honesty though, I'll probably end up buying some of them.

@somedelicook: Good thing that there isn't hurry to buy one of those things yet. Also i'm kinda dissapointed by the lack of Viva Pinata sequel info in that "leak", after we got teased about it by Spencer.

Nothing particularly exciting yet. Hopefully they'll have better stuff to show at E3. Mildly interested in the new Forza Horizon and the discless Xbox One. Shame that there isn't a leaked release date for Switzerland, albeit it's likely the same date as the Scandinavian ones (April). Might just double down and be done with it, or sit on the purchase another year. Guess the smart thing would be to wait until at least E3, to see if anything exclusive in the works tickles my fancy just right. Whatever happend to the *Amped* franchise?

Meh, nothing too relevant to my interests here. If Microsoft or Sony want my money, they'll need to pay Sega to make Shenmue 3, Jet Set Radio Next, Skies of Arcadia 2 and a new Valkyria Chronicles while they're at it. Now chop, chop.

A lot of that reads like a wishlist. Halo 5 gets more dev time and a beta, 2 promising new IPs launch this year,Crackdown 3 not only gets made but has proper dev time. MS is usually good with keeping dates and while that trailer didn't say Halo 5, it was still about the next mainline Halo game and said 2014 at the end.

I could see myself buying XB1 Nov if this is true.

I think the excitement of having these leaks is more exciting than what they actually say. Looks like most of these are going to consist of MS continuing to play things very safe. If you are a fan of these IPs I could see reason to be excited, but most of these reports had been circulating the rumor mill for quite some time.

None of this is exciting.

The right kind of dumb. It sounds campy. A campy, spy game? I'd be down for that. Everything is so serious these days, like FUSE, Overstrike looked way more fun and interesting.

@wolfgame: I said this with the Gears stuff but hindsight's 20/20. You could say "well duh" after anything. How much money, at this moment, would you put on Halo 2 Anniversary this year and no Halo 5?

Bit of a bummer for me that MS would rather strip out the optical drive rather than Kinect, in order to drive down the price. They're going in totally the wrong direction as far as I'm concerned.

The only thing I find interesting in there is Forza Horizon. I find it hilarious that they are making 'Halo Anniversary 2'. What a dumb thing.

I agree with you on the year but not the price.

It would've cost around 600 bucks and only your uncle (the one with the huge satellite dish in his yard) would have one.

I would have bought the disc-drive free model if that was available at launch.

I haven't used my drive yet, except when I tested it on launch day and found out it was broken. At least it got me a free game.

Nothing else too exciting on that list, but I can't wait for Forza Horizon 2.
