Enough of the GBs and MHz battles, this is the real issue.

They are Green blue ray boxes
Weird, by the the xbox one, one, look like the art is on something bigger than the PS4 one? Look at the ESRB rating graphic, the way everything is smaller, ie the print area is bigger. Otherwise, wouldn't it look like the PS4 art?
It's not really a poll. heh. I mean, they've already shown what they'll look like. You probably should have done a google search before making a thread.

GIANT BOMB EXPANDS CONSCIOUSNESS. GIANT BOMB IS LIFE.
Immaterial...I never have to worry about physical media again.
Edit: Also - I don't think those are green Blu-ray cases, I think they're still DVD cases. For one, the corners and the way the plastic is shaped on the spines aren't the same. Two - look at the first image - the aspect ratios of the cases aren't the same. The Xbox is thinner and taller (but resized to make the ad uniform).
He's right. I guess I should have googled. I didn't know the boxes were shown already.
But if you ask me, those things in the picture (BF4) are DVD cases, not BluRay cases. The corners are too sharp and the aspect ratio is taller and narrower.
I have to admit, I was hoping they would be BluRay-shaped given the BluRay boxes are slightly smaller and I don't buy DVDs anymore (what I do buy I buy on BluRay). So then all my movies and games would be coming in the same shape boxes.
But if I were MS, I'd shape them like DVD boxes to match 360. And that's why I voted that way.
"They" are no better than us. They're just guessing. Someone asked Major Nelson on his blog two months ago, he didn't answer.
It's been discussed on the blu-ray.com, they say definitely Blu-Ray.

You won't have to think about boxes soon enough
Exactly. You'll be dead in the long run.
Blu-Ray cases/PS3 cases have always felt higher quality and I like the size more. Good to see Microsoft seeing the light on such an important issue.
I'm asking for guesses. I didn't know there was a definitive answer when I asked. Now that I've seen the definitive answer, it isn't very definitive. None of the definitive sources actually say it's BluRay shaped and both pictures depict something that isn't quite a BluRay case.
So it still seems like an open question to me. If consider it settled, you can just vote the way you are sure is right I guess.
I don't get the reason for a poll. Are you asking which we prefer?
I sold all of my ps3 games to preorder my ps4. I made $390.00 selling them on amazon. Well actually I didn't sell all of them.....the 7 digital games I bought I got nothing for. I think with a larger percentage going digital the physical games will be more valuable at the end of the next generation and will once again pay for my next console.
Just something to think about.
I can't help but notice that the Xbox logo is centered. I'm not going to know what platform the game is for until I've read half the title. This is the exact reason the GameCube failed. This is terrible!
@richprice: probably true, but I rarely sell my games. The ones I do sell, are the ones I dont like, and everyone else usually feels the same, so they arent worth much.
I don't care what people say about boxes....I miss the days of going to stores and picking up big hulking PC game boxes and opening up the flap to view even more crazy taco fantasies! obviously, I'm not going to win an argument over convenience of digital, but man, I wish all games still came in terrible massive cardboard embroiled boxes with system specs that were often misleading. Yes, come to think of it, I want even console games to have system specs...if your gonna sell me box, go all out, mother fucker.
That is the best indication yet, but oddly the corners are still squarer than proper Blu-Ray boxes. I presumed this was just an error in the other mockup, but maybe that's how it'll be.
I'd have thought this image from the end of the Watch Dogs trailer would be the best indication yet that the new cases are going to be Blu-Ray sized.
