Xbox One Dashboard LEAK Still Up!
The dash looks great, more useful rather than looking like they are mostly concerned with selling you shit. Hopefully that doesn't change when its live as a service.
Sony still has to prove they can do this, I feel like people are assuming that they will and they haven't yet. Plus they're charging for it too so no more "well, it's free".
Oh yea, I saw it. Neat.
DeadMau5 got an XONE. News.
Wow that's what deadmau5 looks like? He's pretty haggard. Jealous that he has an X1.

Its from the similar neogaf thread! http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=672637&page=9
I've made a bookmark for there, so I can keep up with all the secret stuff they have there, and then they rage about. :D
It looks fantastic man and when I saw that commercial I was speechless.
This shows everything we can expect from the xbone. Microsoft loves and cares about their consumers obviously.
@falserelic: That looks alright. I like beer and football, and they could mix pretty well. Sure! I'm sold.

Me too can't wait to enjoy skype, football, and the latest new T'V shows, Microsoft is going to take the entertainment business by Storm!
@falserelic: Mm-hmm. Storm
Still holding out hope that this is just a big fake-out and the Blades UI will be making a comeback.

They need to give us what we really want:
The biggest takeaway for me was the speed of the dashboard. It just looked easy to get from app to game and vice versa. The 360 feels so unbearably sluggish these days. November can't come fast enough.
As for the layout, it looks nice and usable, if not a bit predictable. Nothing wrong with that though.
Just really hope nobody's losing their job over this leak.

Well i don't know, i think it comes down to taste. PS3 got a bad rap for having unless features hidden in its menus but overall the design was quite simple and easy to use. It also allowed a wide range of customizing the XMB. Now the psn store was pretty poorly design at the beginning when it was some spotty web based application. Xbox had great designs in the beginning but as time passed its dashboard became more about ads and multimedia services that got in the way of the gaming hub.
So honestly i feel as far as pure dashboard design both of them have something to prove. The only added thing Sony has to sell is proving downloads are fast and don't take forever.
@yodasdarkside: or, you know, Microsoft's design philosophy for the last 4 years
